Solidly built and sturdy, looks great in our bathroom. We do not have it in our shower so we cannot say whether it would hold up being exposed to constant shower water but as far as a bathroom bench we love it!

This was very easy to put together, and fit perfectly in our shower. We love it!

very pretty and would make a good bench....just not in a shower. It is not water resistant/proof and quickly got mold on it. would be better just to advertise as a bench, not a shower bench because it is nice looking and sturdy.

I liked the first stool I bought like this so much that I ordered a second one. The finished quality is lovely, well worth the price. HOWEVER, on this stool, the hex screws were rusty and one of the dowel pegs was broken/incomplete. Both stools were hard to assemble, BUT if you brush the screws with a little bit of oil before inserting AND you only turn each screw a few times at the beginning (leaving them all loose), you will have enough wiggle room to see where the screw needs to go to properly fit. THEN tighten all of the screws a little at a time. Very sturdy. If you intend to sit on it, it needs something soft on top. Mine is in the bathroom with a portable heater underneath (plenty of room behind the heater for venting so no fire hazard) and a toilet seat cover for the cushion (which sounds awful but looks good and stays in place).

Two stars on assembly as the holes do not line up and I had to use my own power drill to make the hole wider so I could get a screw to go through both. Probably compromised the integrity of it, but I don't plan on sitting on it much.Very nice looking table though!
