Crap machine does not maintain good function. It slows down and picks up speed on its own very flimsy made out of plastic that one of the clips already just broke and I can’t use no more due to the fact the piece that retains it into the blades broke off, not durable doesn’t work well wish I can have a refund, but it’s past the window for a return.

Update:After using with the guards, I used it one time to "clean up" some edges. This was a terrible mistake that I caught very quickly (thankfully).The cutting blade (the one that moves back and forth) has nothing keeping it level or straight in line with the piece of the blade that doesn't move and is exposed to the skin. Because of this, the cutting blade is at a slight angle when it is at the end of it's side-to-side movements, and the barest tip of the cutting blade is exposed. This will cut your skin when trying to do edging of a beard or back of the neck.I cannot recommend this product as it is unsafe due to this exposed bit of the cutting blade. If you use it without the guards, I don't see how you don't get cut, because it's visibly beyond the edge of the main blade.Yes, it will continue to work "fine" with the guards, but one reason for a trimmer like this is specifically for edge clean-up without the guards.I have disposed of this as I would never be using it again.The following is no longer accurate but left in place if you will ONLY use this trimmer with the guards.Just straight to the review...The Good:* It clips close* It comes with accurate blade guards (compared to 2 other trimmers)* The price is fantastic...assuming it lasts more than a few uses* It comes with a USB charge cableThe Meh:* The USB charge cable is USB-A. I really wish more things came with USB-C ends. Yes, I have adapters...I don't want to have to use adapters.* The body is plastic. It's a "metallic look" but unfortunately feels kinda cheap.* I knew this coming into it, but the dragon designs on this are...over the top* The "instruction manual" is nothing of the sort. This shouldn't need much in the way of instructions but the little pamphlet in 11 languages isn't instructions really.* The ear wax cleaning kit...just...I won't be using it. It's not bad, but it's just a "toss in for free" item.The Bad:* See update above. Pretty bad issue.The Verdict:Again, it's a plastic body, but the head is obviously metal and it does cut really well. Hopefully lasts more than a couple uses. It's strong, and a bit loud, but not overly so. It does come with accurately measured blade guards and doesn't bog down when trimming thicker, slightly longer hair.I no longer recommend, this at any price ($7.99 at time of review) due to the issue in the update at the top of this review.

These clippers arrived with a rather short usb-a to usb-c cable, and 4 clips: including 1.5-2-3-4 mm. In addition, a bonus item of the ear cleaning kit which are shorter than I expected but definitely still workable and should be used with caution. These aren't really necessary or expected with clippers, but a nice bonus for sure.Honestly, I was slightly disappointed to see that the gold shell of these clippers is made out of plastic. The only good thing about this is it helps mute the loudness of the motor, and it's design is honestly beautiful. Thankfully the blade plate is metal, but not as sharp as I'd like, and it sits on a spring for a little bit of give and flexibility, but it's still a bit tough going against surfaces. Regardless, it's definitely serviceable and works well for smaller jobs and detailing, plus it's a great size for travel, or a mobile barber setup.

This does really well, cuts fine just the way I like, the only caveat is that for some reason whenever I first turn it on it doesn’t start moving until I also press on the blade, not sure if this is a safety mechanism but it wasn’t outlined in the manual enclosed. It was charged already when I received it so I didn’t have to charge it again. Came with some extra accessories, and there was a few guards included, however I wish it had more, the shortest is 1.5 I really prefer a 1.0 and 0.5, nonetheless this is an excellent clipper for maintenance and edges and getting the mustache its final touches.
