--Smart Smokeless Moxibustion Box, Intelligent Temperature Control, Time Control, LCD Temperature Display, Portable Moxibustion Instrument Electronic Physiotherapy Instrument--I am new to moxibustion, but this seems to be easier for in home use than a traditional moxibustion stick as a stick you have to light and then hold a burning moxa stick without touching your skin. You can focus on one specific spot with this, where a moxa stick is moved around. My intended use for this hasn't arisen much since I discussed using it with my acupuncturist so I don't know for sure how much it has helped much. I don't know how long each cake will last nor when you need to replace it. I will update my review if anything profound occurs down the road.

The device is very well made but has proven a bit tricky to use. It gets pretty hot and I haven't found an easy way to turn down the heat without having to shut off the device and start again. The device charges fast and holds the charge for several hours (not continual use, over days). The kit has everything you need, including several packets of the mugwort slices. The device is very quiet and has adjustable straps that should fit a variety of body sizes. It is truly smoke free but you can smell the mugwort, which can be a bit overwhelming the closer the device is to your smell range. Overall, it is a wonderful device.

Never had any device similar to this one, it's a nice little device to help warm up various parts of your body, and according to the product instructions, it helps some things like blood circulation etc. I can't speak any of those things they claim it achieved since I don't have anything to prove it. However, while using it, I can definitely feel the device transmit heat to my body through the parts I strap it on. It works slowly, but it's noticable. The temperature seems only in Celsius which doesnt bother me that much since we travel quite a bit to other countries so we have some ideas whether the temperature might be. The operation is simple, there isn't much you can control, it straps on easy, and works very quietly for its purpose. I haven't actually use it enough to know exactly how long it can last with a full charge, but within 30 mins of usage, it didn't run out of battery.

Having had professional acupuncture for years, and they will do this treatment, but with more "fire", and they know what they are doing. I thought I'd give the home treatment a try and it is good, but I'm still on a learning curve, but every little bit I can do helps this aging body. I'll keep experimenting and see how it goes, but so far so good. charges up and I can take it all over the house for treatments.

I don't know how I feel about this. First off the temperature is in Celsius and isn't changeable. It is not easy for me to do the conversion in my head. Is this a deal breaker, for some probably not, had I realized it thought I would not have gotten it. The instructions are not translated very well and some of it is a bit confusing. The device has a learning curve to it and I am sure it takes time to feel if it is helping or not. It comes with a lot of the Moxibustion cakes, which is really nice and I noticed they do sell more. I don't love the aroma of the cake. I also experience some nose and throat irritation while using it, not sure if it is allergies personal to me or something with the cakes being heated. The device does get quite warm, I couldn't stand the max temperature against my skin and adjusting it is a little confusing. I know TCM can be quite effective and using this in addition to acupuncture is recommended. I paired it with acupressure for the sessions I experimented with. I have not noticed any additional benefits to using this device above those that acupressure provide.

This device has worked well for me so far but I do have two points of caution/criticism. First off this device gets HOT. I believe the displayed temperatures are a bit lower than what the actual unit runs at. This isn't necessarily an issue, just use caution and start low. Additionally, the temperature units on this are only in Celsius. Not a big deal at all but it's worth noting and I'm not sure why there isn't an easy switch or function to switch between units. I do think this offers a great value, just be aware of these little quibbles.

I'm not sure about this. The device itself feels cheap. I'm very new at this. I don't like the aroma at all. It's headache inducing. The device is only in Celsius, which I do not like. The instructions are hard to understand and follow. I thought using a device like this to start out would make things easier, but I was wrong I guess.

We’ve used this for a few weeks and although it has helped some a few things to it that we don’t like. I do not like that the temperature is in Celsius and you can’t change that. It would be great if it was changeable. The second thing is the aroma. Although it is not horrible it does give me a headache after some time of the smell. Overall it’s a nine product to try but definitely could be better.
