Why am I having to pay £18.77 customs charge on top of postage for this. People need to know about the extra costs incurred

The Chiaogoo circular needles are my favorite!! I also own the larger 5" ChiaoGoo TWIST Stainless Steel Interchangeable (Small) Set and the Shortie set (Small ). I knit a wide range of projects, from sweaters to hats to lace shawls etc., so need a variety of needle sizes and lengths. Knitters may also use magic loop methods that would save money on varied lengths of needles and cables, but knitting on a continual round is very satisfying. The no-memory cables are amazing!! They don't twist while I'm knitting and the feel of the steel needles are comfortable, since the stitches glide smoothly. The needles are also pointier that other brands which I like A LOT, since it really helps out with lace knitting. Be careful that you don't split the yarn while knitting though. the joint connection is smooth and I have never felt snags (when connected correctly). some reviewers have commented on the needles and cable getting disconnected during knitting. I haven't had that happen when I use the key to lock the needles on tight. Love these needles!!
