This book is an absolute lifesaver for anyone who wants to take the SAT! I've seen my fair share of test prep books, and I have to say that the strategies in this one are spot on—clear, practical, and easy to apply.The three full-length practice tests are honestly the most valuable part of the book, in my opinion. If a test prep guide doesn't come with practice tests, I don't even bother with it, since these are what let you get a real sense of what to expect on test day. It’s thorough but not overwhelming and covers everything you'll need to know for test day. Highly recommend!

The format of the SAT has changed so much since I took it in high school. I got this book to help me be able to prepare my son for the exam. The book goes over the format of the exam, how to register, and how to study and prepare. There are sample questions (in 3 full length practice tests). Each question not only has an answer but also has an explanation for how they got to that solution. I think if you work.diligently, you will succeed in preparing for the SAT.
