Fun loving film from the 1940s
This is a funny and fast paced early 1940s film, featuring the always delightful Lucille Ball. With loads of sight gags and memorable characters, itโs suitable for all ages.

Great Film, No Extra Features, Overpriced at its best
Okay quality, restoration did not use their best to do it. Common dvd prices for old movies cost below $10, yet Warner Archives re releases out of print dvd and make them 21.99 dollar retail with no special features treating it like a modern movie. 5 STARS for entertaining film, 2 stars for Warner Archive

fun film
I'm rating the seller here, not the movie. It's a goofy fun movie, no great art but lots of fun. Seller delivered on time and in great order.

A tiny skip
I love this movie and cannot find it on DVD so ordered this VHS. It has a small skip 47 seconds into the movie but otherwise is fine.

PRIME VINTAGE BALL COMEDY.
This rarely seen 1941 flick, which was actually produced by the legendary Harold Lloyd is a neat pick for Lucy fans. Edmund O'Brien is a rich rich boy who is enamoured of lovely Ball (as Dot Duncan, a zany stenographer). Lucy, however, has her eyes set on the obnoxious Coffee Cup (George Murphy): an altogether predictable but wonderfully funny twist ensuses. Lloyd was successful at transferring his slapstick techniques to the director (Richard Wallace) and the enjoyable cast which includes Franklin Pangborn, Kathleen Howard, Doodles Weaver and Irving Bacon (he played Ethel's Dad in Albuquerque on I LOVE LUCY).

Great, rare, slapstick comedy
You gotta love this one! With sailers that grown 4 inches, runaway pianos, an old guy that "drinks" tobacco, this one is a classic slapstick from the early 1940s. Despite the heavy dose of comedy, there is a sensitive, romantic side to this film, largely due to the acting of the fabulous Lucille Ball. Wish this film and more of her earlier films were transfered to DVD so we could enjoy them forever!
