Purchased as a Christmas present. I have used this type of umbrella before and they are very handy as it keeps the rain inside the umbrella when you close it and not over everything around you. For instance when getting into a car, or a bus etc enables you to close the umbrella easily and hold the dry part.Appears sturdy and quite weighty - good size and colour.

Very neat umbrella and folds down small and very strong it’s a win win

I bought this umbrella because I really like the concept of the reverse closure. It's great and saves everything getting wet and gross when I bring it back inside.It's a bit hard to push the body back down to get it to lock/collapse again, and I have chronic pain so basically have to steady the end of the umbrella against a wall or myself to then push hard to get the 'stem' back to make it small again. I wish there were a way to get that to retract itself like how it pops out, but I get that's a spring mechanism so obviously wouldn't work the same way.It's not windproof though. Much like almost every collapsible umbrella, a courageous gust turns it inside-out.The good thing is that it's quite easy to turn back inside-in, because of the ways the spokes bend, but I don't think the build quality will hold with mine if it happens two or three more times.The issue is, I live by the Thames and it gets bloody windy! But hey. It keeps me dry. Until it doesn't!

Strong. Robust. Larger coverage than others of similar presentation. Good grip. Efficient button permits umbrella to open. Good strong colour.
