Know if you are killing your plants
I have had the soil meter for a while. I needed something more to let me know that my moisture level were good. I have to mix certain soil mixtures for different plants and this meter helps with that. I only have the one to test the pH, so I assuming that it is accurate. I don't have another one like it to test it against. Easy to use, and constructed as well as any others that you might purchase. If you have to have a meter, get one that will give you more information if you care about your plants.

Not too bad for a throw away price
ph readings seem ok so far only expecting to get one season out of it. The $7 price tag makes it a throw away as you are lucky to get one season out of any of meters in the less then $20 range.

Worthless Product
This is a scam and worthless device. I've now purchased three in the last year in an attempt to get one that worked accurately. The latest was defective out of the box and the other two gave readings which weren't even close to an accurate reading I got from a soil sample sent for testing. There are many of these listed on Amazon under different brand names but they are all EXACTLY the same and manufactured in China. Save your money and buy the soil sample tester or send out a sample to your local agricultural bureau.

HARD TO SEE
I HAVE USED THIS FOR A LONG TIME, AND IT IS PRETTY GOOD BUT HARD TO SEE....MY EYESIGHT IS NOT GREAT, BUT THE PLANTS ARE ALIVE!!!!

Not very accurate.

mostly doesn't work
pH meter is not accurate at all. I placed it in an acid soil to test it and it took 24 hours before it showed slight acid then rebounded to alkaline as soon as the soil started drying. Light meter isn't great either. Moisture is meter ok.
