These Countdown Parachute Pants have a tight fit and a vintage nylon finish that will really get you noticed. The pants come with two zippered pockets on the right leg and one zippered pocket on the left leg, along with two front zippered pants pockets and one zippered back pocket. There are also zippers at the bottom of each leg that optionally creates the 80s ankle tight look. These pants are machine washable and can be ironed on a low heat setting. How to size these pants? To determine which size of pants to purchase, it is important that you first measure a pair of your own pants that fit comfortably. Do not rely on manufacturer labels, as they are often lower than the true waist size in inches (vanity labeling). Place the pants to be measured on a flat surface and measure the width at the belt line. This measurement should be doubled to determine your true waist size. Add one to two inches if a skinny fit (80s style) is not desirable. The manufacturer’s label and the true waist size for each pair of pants. The waist is made of nylon so they have no stretch or give. They will not shrink when washed. for these pants, the inseam is not that important. A zipper on both ankles will gather extra material, if needed. Pants in the 80s were worn on the ankle instead of the heel. These pants have a 32 inch inseam, which can be correctly worn by individuals with an inseam from 25 to 33 inches. As was common in the 80s, children as young as 12 could fit into these pants because of the zippered ankles.

Very Tight fit
I bought these for my 80s theme party, and okay I forgot how tight these things fit, I guess there's a difference in how they feel at 150 pounds 34 years ago, to 250+ now. Just be aware of that when you purchase them. They are really cool and wished they had fit, you you are doing an 80s theme party or for holloween these are a must, I just wished they had fit.

Looks great but doesn't last
was excited to get parachute pants back in the wardrobe- wore them around once a week for a couple months- then while reaching into my pocket for a guitar pick, my hand went straight through the fabric as if they were 40 year old worn out nylon originals- for this price they should be made better- I can't afford 70$ every 3 months for one pair of pants

Too big and too loose.
I was really excited to get these pants, but when I got them and tried them on, the fit was way off. I’m not sure if they sent me the wrong size and just labeled it wrong, but I ended up not throwing them away. Super bummed.
