This does not work with the Korg Opsix

The Korg Volcas are fun, and being battery powered is a nice option, but when there are multiple Volcas in a setup that is put away for awhile, it can be annoying to find no power or be low on power and not know until the fun stops. A nice feature about the adapter, which isn't specific to this adapter, but all compatible options, is that if there are working batteries installed, they will power the Volca when the adapter is not plugged in, but when the adapter is plugged, the batteries are bypassed, saving their power for when there isn't a power adapter plugged in. Just one less hassle.Note for seller/maker: a great option, either as a bundle or add-on would be to include a jack splitting to power multiple Volcas from a single adapter. I've seen an option for an adapter with splitter to power 5 Volcas but they can be hard to get quickly, being out of stock or slow shipping from UK.

I used this with my Korg Volca Sample, and it works well. What you get is a center positive 9V 1amp power supply with a 5.5mm tip (which is a more common 9V power jack size) and an adapter that steps the barrel size down for the Korg equipment. That means you can use this on other things that need 9V center positive power with a 5.5mm jack by removing the adapter. For me, that's a bonus. The adapter has a yellow tip just like an OEM Korg power supply which is convenient for remembering what it goes with. When I measured the adapter barrel, the outer diameter is slightly less than the Korg OEM barrel, but it is working fine on my Volca Sample. The inner diameter of the adapter barrel is tight enough to hug the input post and hold the plug in firmly, and the sleeve on the outside of the barrel is making contact for the ground. So far, so good with this power supply. It's working for my Volca.
