When you need MORE POWER
Fit my Dell Lat' 6540 & 6420 just fine. Worked like a charm. If it's a DELL & it's a 7.5mm power jack it will fit and power the device. It even had the "Blue Ring of Power" indicator when it's plugged up.Note the picture is a bit off. Unlike Dell PSU in the pic, this one uses a PC style "DOG HOUSE" 110 cord. NOT the 3 circle power cord. It's not an issue but keep in mind it only fits these types of cords. ANY PC style PSU cord will do.Lastly LOOOOONG cord is awesome! Both the PSU to laptop & PSU to wall are very long. Over 6' from end to end means you can reach just about any wall outlet & have room to wiggleđ

Non Dell Battery Detected
I'm getting messages from my computer 4 orange followed by 1 white, and a message stating non Dell Charger connected. It will charge the laptop but constant error messages and then the computer shuts off or it won't boot and shutting down during boot and sending the battery error message.

Works just fine for any 240w charger laptop
After trying to find an exact charger for my Dell G15 since the one I had didnât work, I found this more general purpose 240W charger. Using it now it works much better and faster than my older one.
