Superbly executed
I tried out all the options on the market and this one wins. Well designed, compact, well made. Shields the sun very well. The new rubber clips are gentle on your screen and very discreet. Highly recommend for laptop users on the move.

Sun Shade Fail
It will shade the sun but there is a lot of reflection when it’s really sunny. The side panels are hard to attach and I almost damaged my computer screen with one of them so I don’t attach them anymore. Rather expensive considering is cardboard with a plastic cover. Not worth the money.

Messed up my Macbook monitor after the first use. :(
The holding mechanism is too tight so it causes damage to the screen. Not a reliable thing. I would not recommend it. I am going to return it.

Brilliant for outdoor in the sun and working with GDPR / sensitive information on your screen
A really smart bit of kit - really useful for working outside on a sunny day. Shields the screen of my MacBook perfectly so I can actually see what I'm doing. Another unintended benefit is when working in a coffee shop (or any other public space) is it protects my screen from prying eyes. I have to be very conscious of GDPR and this Sun Shader does the job nicely. I had originally bought a cheaper knock off version but the quality was awful - definitely worth getting the original. Very pleased with this, I've just ordered my wife one too.
