Not convinced they work
I am going to look into returning this product. I took three readings. One from the tank, one from a bucket of clean water I was going to use to change the tank water and I took a reading from the dirty pond outside which has lots of water insects in. The readings came back the same for all! I can't believe that rainwater in a pond, de-chlorinated tap water and unfresh tank water would all be the same.

Not as good as the API Master Test Kit
Hmmm the nitrate readings did not change whatever I did to the tanks....so I purchased the Master API Test Kit...so much more accurate and the nitrate levels are well within tolerance. I suggest you buy the API Master Test Kit rather than these strips.
