I’ve ordered all of the recommended brands of journals. This is the only one I’ve found where the paper is comparable to Arches. It stays wet and accepts the paint in the same way. Plus, you can remove the paper while painting. I’ll definitely order this again.

I am very happy with the results I am getting with this. 100% cotton is the only way to go and I love the binder style so I don’t have to worry about the pages not lying flat

Bought it for the journal part to put my own paper in it. It took 3 times of me ordering it before they would even ship it, it just kept getting delayed and then canceled.. Not sure what's going on there?? The journal part is nice, the paper is what you'd expect, not the best but not the worst. I don't think it's 100% cotton. You can only paint on one side of it. Will definitely not be buying from this seller again, I do know that. What a hassle it was for them to take my money.

I've reviewed quite a number of watercolor-related papers and sketchbooks, and this paper honestly seems to be good quality, heavy cotton. It's got a very light texture, between hot and cold press, just beautiful. By the way, the dimensions are for the binder, not the pages of watercolor paper. The pages are about 5 1/2 by 8 1/4. If you don't count the part taken up by the holes, the width is 5 1/4.The binder is so wonderful for travel sketching, especially in the car, because when open it provides a nice platform and room to have a palette next to it. The color of the blue binder is more subdued than the listing photo, a nice slate blue. It's a calm color and won't compete with your painting or affect your color choices. Highly recommended.

I like Lightwish paper - I have two blocks and a tiny 4 x 4 journal. It’s thick, nicely textured, and a great bargain. BUT this journal is smaller than it states in the ad and I am very disappointed. After measuring I can see that the measurements are for the outer cover but the paper is almost an inch smaller on both sides I have a 3 hole pinch, so I think I am going to buy an A4 size binder, and make my own journal with the block paper.

I received this today. I have not tried paper yet. The size is smaller than I had hoped,it would be nice if you made a size of 8x11. Price was a little high for this product should be $12.99 or no more than $15.99.

Amazing watercolor papear and beefy nice way to storage them!

Well thought out product. I can take the page out and tape it down to work on watercolor then return it to the book. I can also rearrange pages to suit. The paper is good, it is refillable. Just the right size for making art on the move. You can take it anywhere and the rigid cover protects the art. I like to scan my sketches and keep a digital record of it so I can take the page out and lay it flat on the scanner bed.

Got this for my daughter who enjoys drawing and painting and she loves it. Well made. Great quality. Exactly as pictured. Appreciate the pockets on the inside, as well as the pen slot for a paint brush, pen, or marker. The included paper is really high quality. Perfect for yourself or the artist in your life. Will have to figure out where I can get more of this paper once she goes through the included ones.
