J**Z
I wanted to like it.
I love Mox's other products because they are simple, effective, and free of fillers. However, I feel that this particular product goes against that philosophy. On the plus side, it applies smoothly and leaves no white cast. However, I question the inclusion of lavender oil, which can be a potential irritant, especially since this product requires reapplication every two hours. After using it for just two days, my allergies flared up significantly. While I don’t mind a light fragrance in products that are meant to be washed off, like their peppermint face wash (which I actually wish had a milder scent), I think it's unwise to have a scent that lingers on the skin.Another concern is the use of coconut oil. Although it can be very moisturizing, it is also comedogenic, which leads me to believe it counteracts the benefits of the peppermint face wash containing salicylic acid. I feel this could limit the customer base able to use this product. In summary: If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, coconut oil and lavender oil may trigger breakouts or irritation.
