I like this essence. It applies smoothly to my face and absorbs well. I believe it's fragrance-free, but if it does have a scent, it's very faint. It seems to keep my skin feeling soothed and hydrated. However, since I follow multiple steps in my Korean skincare routine, including ampoules and serums, I can’t definitively say how much of a difference it makes on its own. What I can confirm is that it has no adverse effects, and my skin hasn’t had any allergic reactions. Overall, it’s a decent product—it works, but it doesn’t particularly stand out.

Generally, my combination skin just reacts to well heartleaf. When I got this toner, I already know that my skin enjoy this as a treat. The essence is so light and nonsticky. It was hydrating and soothing but not too heavy. I love using it as a base prep for my skin before adding more skincare products on top of it. It smells great, my skin never had any breakouts with this and it's been looking great too!

Took me a while after receiving this to try it.I first have to do research on the unknown - which for me was Heartleaf, and Houttuynia Cordata Extract. This product had a lot of ingredients. I may be wrong, but it seems to compete with Anua. I was trying to compare ingredients and figure out why THIS product was more expensive than the other competing products with Heartleaf.I had to deduct a full star for the seller NOT disclosing ALL ingredients. My consistent rule for any serum, cream, shampoo, any topical because ingredients can and do absorb into the body through the skin. All the seller has to do is include a photo of the side of box/packaging which lists ALL ingredients, or just list them in the detailed section of the ad.I did not deduct that the price seems high compared to other competitor products with similar ingredients.I did like the ingredients that provide hydration to my skin. I liked the added benefit of ingredients to help calm any irritation.I don't typically have irritated skin that needs calming, but my legs often are irritated after shaving. Personally, I have lately been using toner on my legs and then applying cream. I find this hydrates my dry irritated skin after shaving.Note: I do not get paid for my review. I am not an influencer. I wasn't sure what 'essence' was but I think it's more in the toner family. It's got a nice mild scent that dissipates quickly, which I appreciate. It's very refreshing and absorbs readily. Not greasy at all, and no irritation during the time I've used it. I do wish it came in a spray version for ease of application, but that's only my preference and doesn't take away from using the product.

This is the first time trying "heartleaf" or any sort of skincare product like this. It has a pleasantly light and clean scent and reminds me of splashing my face with cool water. It's soothing to put on and I found myself looking forward to putting it on as I turn down for the night.No negative reaction from the ingredients, which seem fine. Can imagine integrating this into a daily skincare routine.

This feels cool and refreshing on the face, and I like the gentle scent. It rubs on easily and is only lightly tacky as it is drying. I can't tell that it does much to soothe irritated spots though.

I tried this soothing essence on my face after shaving (I'm a guy) and it was tolerated well. The smell is slightly sweet and fleeting so it would be good for a variety of people. The fragrance didn't stick around long either, which is good for me. I started with a cotton ball and that worked well, the essence absorbed rather quickly without leaving a residue. I also put it in a small spray bottle so i can mist my face on those really hot days and it works great for that too.

I usually really enjoy Neogen products and there are even a few that I always have on hand (I’m looking at you Neogen mascara!). Being completely honest though this isn’t my favorite essence nor my favorite Neogen product.I’m really particular about my skincare and can’t stand when it feels sticky or tacky at all. This essence initially feels soothing and hydrating, but it quickly gets sticky and tacky feeling and that never goes away. Because of that it’s not my go to essence and I usually only use it at night every once in a while. I couldn’t handle that tackiness during the day.
