I wanted a straightforward bodycam without apps or any complicated settings, for safety, as I have pretty aggressive neighbours. This does the job brilliantly and worked straight out of the box. Took about 30 minutes to figure out how to use all the different settings. All I did was replace the 64GB SD card with a 256GB. The picture quality is great and the sound decent. I like the fact that you can record with or without the sound and it switches automatically to night vision when lighting is poor.

If you have not used one of these devices, like me, I suggest that the first thing you do is scan the QR code in the instructions and go to the Spikecam website. AT the top of the page, there is a link to a YouTube video that takes you through all aspects of the camera and its use. I found that particularly helpful, as I could pause the video and try out what had just be shown. Once familiar with the controls, it is a cinch to use!The first thing I had to do was go into the menu where there are loads of choices for setting the camera to work as you would wish and also to set the time and date.Playback can be either on the small screen on the camera or by connecting to a PC or mobile phone. Everything you need is included in the box for connecting to other devices.For such a small device the video quality was good as was the audio.

Wanted a small cam for dog walking. Easy to use, directions clear. Great vids, stills & audio. Simple to transfer to laptop & phone. Very happy with unit.

Decent personal/security camera. Can be mounted on any tripod or as well.Easy to operate.The only criticism is that it doesn't record in widescreen, only a traditional 3:2 format.

I have had this camera several days and it appears to be well made and appears to function well but time will tell how things progress. I have not given it a higher rating because I am very disappointed with the fittings supplied. This is a body cam so should be able to be attached to most items of clothing but the clip it has Is a slider type rather than a crocodile clip and it is not rotational. Therefore it is really only any good for use on a shirt or coat with a breast pocket that is horizontal. You are then supplied with a lanyard to hang it around your neck which fits through the camera with cotton thickness fibre which I am sure will not LL Ady long and may well result in you losing your camera. I feel that as this is a 'Bodycam' it would be better to not provide tripods and fittings for tripods and concentrate more on appropriate fittings for a body cam.

So pleased with the original order, I bought another one.So easy to transfer the files directly to your phone. Great picture quality too. Definitely worth the money.

It has been surprisingly handy for my outdoor adventures- it captures decent 1080p video and audio, which is good enough for capturing memories or evidence if needed. The battery lasts for about 6 hours, which is not bad, but could be better. The night vision lets me capture footage even in low-light conditions, which is good for early morning rides or evening runs. The built-in SOS sound function is also a nice safety feature-it can emit a loud alarm to attract attention in case of an emergency. The body camera itself is small and lightweight, and it clips securely onto my clothes.

got this little bodycam for my outdoor escapades – takes pretty decent 1080p vids and audio. perfect for capturing those fun moments or for a bit of evidence if needed. battery life is around 6 hours, which is alright but could be longer. love the night vision for those early or late activities, and the sos alarm is a lifesaver. it’s small and lightweight, clips securely, and comes with a handy 64gb sd card.setting it up seemed a bit much at first with all the buttons, comes with useful accessories like a tripod, lanyard, and bike clamp. video quality is solid with vibrant colours, and you can even use it as an audio recorder. all in all, a reliable and user-friendly gadget for everyday use!
