I was looking for a shoes that added height while still looking classy and stylish.This shoe was perfect. The Silver adds a classy hardware that immediately dresses up a look without being too flashy.This shoe also maximizes your height (5.5 inches) while the platform still adds comfort and doesn't make you flex your feet to a point where you look and feel unnatural.I love a good ankle strap as it secures your foot, which is important when the heel is this high.The heel itself is also a great balance of being a skinny stiletto- a dressy, classy, sexy width, without being so skinny that you don't have much balance. It's juuuust chunky enough to give you stability without sacrificing elegance.The price point is also fairly reasonable, given how versatile this shoe is.The ONLY downside is how much pain my pinky toes were in when I first wore these shoes. But I will say once the straps wear in a bit they get much more comfortable- just have a little patience.

Metallic silver 1.5 inch platform 6 inch heels. They do run small I purchased a size 9 but they run about a half size small. Comfort level is equal to a brand new pair of patent leather louboutins... Didn't last the whole wedding. I made it through the ceremony but changed out of them during the reception.

Very cute and perfect color to match my Michael Kors dress. Only issue is there is no texture on the bottom of the shoe, so it can be very slippery when walking on shiny (read slippery) tiled floors. (I have not fallen, but am very cautious)

It hurt my toes on the right side. I can't even walk just to try on.I ordered half size bigger than my normal size. It's better. It's ok but not comfortable. I keep it because i need a gold heels and style not because of the comfort. If Chinese Laundry improved the quality of the top part, this shoes would be perfect.

Bought these to go with my daughter's pageant gowns and she loved them! The size, fit, and quality are great!

I wear a size 9 and I had to return then due to the front part squeezing my big toe and making it very uncomfortable. I'd recommend getting a half size or size up. On a positive note they are very nice looking in person

This shoe was very difficult for me. The first time I bought it, it had a bunch of problems with quality--glue drops on the leather, globs of glue over the stitching, and worn previously. I sent them back and opted for them to replace the shoes, as they are truly beautiful shoes and I'm a huge fan of Chinese Laundry. I was hoping the second pair would be a bit less of an issue, but when they arrived I could barely get my feet in them (I am always a 9 in CL shoes), the front straps bit into my foot and my toes were completely smushed together. Again, there were globs of glue and scratches on the leather, the base of the shoe, and the heel. It was the first pair of CL shoes I've not been able to slip into perfectly, and due to the craftsmanship I question whether the shoe is being made by someone else and sold as CL. Altogether, if you get a pair of these, make sure you check the quality of them out of the box. They are lovely shoes and I hope some people get to wear them proudly!

My daughter used shoes for a beauty pageant. Shoes were comfortable!
