This seems to be a well-made device. You can use it for advertising, promotion, or just for fun as a sort of "screensaver" billboard in your room. But the app is crucial to adding custom content, and it just doesn't work right.The device is easy to assemble, and mount on the wall. Comes with everything you need, and basically just requires assembly of the 4 blades. There is a micro SD card included in the slot, but it is very difficult to get out. Seems like it may break over time, which would make it impossible to add any more custom content.If you can get it to connect through the app, via the hologram fan's own wifi hotspot, you can control the fan well enough. Though, this requires you to disconnect from your own wifi (and internet connection). The additional trouble comes when you want to add any custom videos. The app can "transcode" anything from your phone, but the looping function is broken when doing so. The app doesn't create a seamless looping video, even if the original video was seamless. There is a desktop app you can download, which is also broken, but in different ways. You can transcode loops just fine, but I couldn't get the PC app to connect to the device. So it required physically putting the micro SD card in my computer, transferring the transcoded files, and then putting the micro SD card back into the fan.This device needs WAY better functionality with the app, and connection to PC, and WAY better documentation of how to transcode videos with the best quality for looping.I would say this is a nice device if you are willing to struggle with the app, but probably overpriced for how poorly it functions with the app and PC controls.

The media could not be loaded. I'm actually realize what this was until I got it. It's seriously cool. It's basically a cross with a bunch of LEDs on it, it spins and creates an image. You can only see the image looking perpendicular to the unit. If the unit is on its side you don't see a 3D image. It creates a very vibrant rich colored imageYou can download and change the images it creates, I haven't tried that yet. The bill quality is very nice. It's easy to use, all you do is turn it on.

Would not connect with wifi and no directions

Really cool concept and idea but the app is holding it back. Wasn't able to get it working exactly the way I wanted and kinda just lost interest. Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity and also comes with a remote so if I ever getting it working properly, I'd really like it.

I rate this 3D hologram fan as 3 stars because it's bananas! I mean, are we there yet? We're not, but we're getting close. This fan rotates to display a decent 3D hologram. It definitely attracts attention, bringing static images to life, so it can be a hit for advertising, but is also awesome for just entertaining purposes.
