Good Directions 1969P American Bald Eagle Copper Weathervane,Polished Copper

Pictures taken with wind currently from the South. Arrow points to wind coming from direction.. Easy enough to install with seperate mount. Initially, it was taking a pretty major breeze for it to point/move. I live in Eastern New Mexico, so we get hefty winds here. Sent an email to the Company.. Super response. They sent two new poles, the new being brass on the bottom, stainless steel top rod. Also, a small ball bearing for top of rod/inside vane sleeve. At no charge.. Highly impressed.. Spins like a charm now. Put a solar spotlight on roof to highlight at night.. Recommend not just the product itself, but the Great Company standing behind their product!!!

Looks great and seems to be made well but just wish they would have clear coated it from the factory. Without clear coating it I’m sure the nice shiny copper is not going to last long.

It really looks great but should come with info on how to best preserve the shiny copper look. I used a spray Everlast coating but make sure you do not shake before spraying as it causes bubbles. This weathervane points to the direction the wind is blowing from which is different than other vanes pointing the direction the wind is blowing too. It is very important to make sure the cupula and weathervane is perfectly level to have it pointing accurately into the wind.

I never ever leave reviews but I had to on this beauty!! It took about 25-30 minutes to assemble. It was well packaged. The box was small I was concerned at first but then when I opened it and saw how pretty it was I was very excited. I did try and use a sealer on it because I wanted to keep the copper look but I won’t really know how long that will last for probably a few years. Overall extremely happy I read and looked at a TON of other weathervanes and I’m thankful I took the jump I was a little scared at the price and craftsmanship just ordering without it knowing but it was so worth it!!

Easy to assemble, quality construction and looks great.

Very accurate weathervane just a small breeze and it will show you what way the wind is coming from. Very well made definitely worth buying.
