No MSG
Thank you so much for making dröe wors without MSG. It tastes great but there are 2 downsides to purchasing this product - firstly the casings used are thick and tough, secondly in every single stick you will find extremely hard bits of gristle, so hard that you cannot chew through and have to remove it from your mouth. I've ordered a few times but have come to realise that the gristle isn't a one off, it's all like that, so regrettably i won't be ordering again.

Dry wors arrived very hard and unable to chew any of it!
Ordered the product twice and both times dry wors arrived extremely hard and we were unable to eat it. Also tasteless. Disappointing.

A little disappointed
I ordered from this company due to reviews and one being their droewors was wet which is the way I like it. Unfortunately it is very very dry. The casing is like old paper and just falls off the wors that's how dry it is. Taste is ok. If you like very dry droewors then this will be OK but unfortunately I'll stick to what I always get. Very tasteful wet droewors even though the price is slightly higher

In need of some improvements, from a customer's point of view.
I've had droewors from a number of different suppliers over the past few years, so I feel I'm in a good position to write a review. The droewors come in 2 x vacuum sealed 500g bags. When you first open the packs they seem wet, oily and soft. Not really how you'd expect if you've eaten this type of food before. However, they do come a few paper bags, so when you open a pack you can take the droewors out of the plastic bag, pop them in the paper bag and they dry to (almost) the right level if you leave them at room temperature, in the paper bag, for a couple of days.Taste wise, they're pretty good, if a little too fatty. You get enough of the droewors spice, with a chilli kick. They're not killer hot, so most people should be able to enjoy these without many problems, if it wasn't for just one major issue..... Gristle! There's so much sinew in each of the 30 gram sticks that it really detracts from the whole eating experience. I did a small (and quite gross) experiment and weighed the amount of un-chewable, tough, connective tissue in a single stick.... 2 grams! Almost 10 percent of the weight of the 30 gram stick was made of tough, inedible gristle. When you combine this with (what would appear to me as being) the high proportion of fat, I can only presume that either care isn't being taken whilst trimming the meat during preparation, or there's a cost implication that's driving the inclusion of so much fat and gristle in the mix. (I understand that you need a certain amount of fat in the mix, but these are REALLY fatty!)Having had Droewors from Susman's (look them up), a local sausage maker, Cruga Beersticks, and a few others, I can safely say that these are my least favourite so far. Let me recap as to why...Too wet when you open the pack and take days to dry out in a paper bag at room temperature.Too much fat.Too much gristle.Other than that, taste wise they're pretty good. With better trimmed meat & better packaging these could be a whole lot better. And one final thought (I almost forgot) they've all been topped & tailed.... Where are the ends of my droewors???? They're my favourite bit!

Good if not that dry
Although the supplier was very helpful, I did not find the product that great. I found the droe wors very dry and as time progressed it got very difficult to chew on. Also there was grit and bone in the mixture and I had to be careful when eating. Sad really, because of the restrictions in the UK for imports causing delay in arrival, I think it was the reason for being too dry.
