I live the design and shape!!! It’s everything I ever wanted butIt doesn’t hold up well! The elastic started to fray in the bust area within the first week!! But months later it’s still holding up and holding strong!

If you are a full C cup or higher, chances are this may not fit you well. If you are a small C or a full B or less, it will likely look stunning and beautiful on you. It really is a beautiful gown I just wish most companies would make women’s clothing based on chest size for things like this. I was really looking forward to this and was a bit disappointing because it’s such a beautiful gown.

I first tried this in ivory, but even though it was beside the color wasn’t right for me. It was so comfortable and pretty that I decided to exchange it for black. I love how the black looks! BUT there is a really itchy, pinching part of the empire waist elastic on this particular nightgown. It’s the classic Amazon thing where there’s no consistency in production, materials, elastic, etc. I like the look of it enough (and the comfort of the ivory one) that I’ve ordered another black. I hope it doesn’t have defects and is comfortable.

I have been wearing this brand and style for many years. It’s my favorite. I would also like to say I’m very pleased with ordering from Amazon. It makes life a lot easier (I’m 88 years old) but I would like to make a suggestion re delivery. I think it would be very helpful to have the OPTION of waiting until the order is complete instead of receiving packages on separate days if there is no rush to receive them. Thank you.

I own two of these nightgowns and just love them. As others have said, the stretch lace is nice and soft, the fit is good and it's very comfortable. However, this latest one is differently sized. I'm 5'6 and a size 6 and have always purchased the medium. They've been generously cut and I could easily buy a small - however, I prefer a looser fit, so I stick with the medium. Today, my 3rd one arrived and the fit is smaller than my other two. I thought that perhaps I was accidently shipped a size small. I double checked, and it's a medium, so while it fits me, it would probably not fit someone who's generally a size medium. So I don't know if this is an irregular, or made in a different factory that uses different sizing measurements. I compared the band where the lace meets the solid fabric, right under the bust line, against my other two and there's a good 2" difference in the size. Additionally, there was a problem with the way the label was sewn into this one. With my other two, the label is tacked onto the garment in two corners and they lie flat and I don't feel them at all. On the one I received today, the stitches are done with a stiffer thread, and don't lie flat with the label and were scratching my skin terribly. Sine there's no "give" and is closely/tightly sewn it's almost impossible to cut out the label without making a hole in the garment. I did manage to do it, but it took a long time, a lot of patience, and practically surgical skills not to cut a hole in the garment.

The only thing I dislike is that the lace is a bit itchy. I love the straps because they don’t slide off your shoulder. It fits comfortably snugly around the breast area and is a perfect length (I’m 5’6”). I’ll be buying another one for myself soon.

A lovely slithery soft nightie in the 'old' style.....just love these - as does my partner!The material is light-weight and oh so soft and it just floats over the body in a most sensual way. Great for sleeping in, even in the warmer months and it looks beautiful when worn about the house.

I'm size 18 and Amazon recommended size L. Took a chance but it's quite tight. Wished I'd gone a size larger at least. Still, it'll be ok and feels lovely on, gorgeous colour. I'm 5' 9' tall and it comes to my ankles which is perfect for me. Arrived in two days but as I write this I notice the price has gone up £15! I paid £23 plus another £5 special Amazon discount so I'm happy. Planning to wear it on a special trip away soon so hopefully it'll produce the right results 😉.

Love the style. Exactly as expected... I wish the fabric was a bit thicker.
