We purchased our first 12oz Wide Mouth Hydro Flask over two years ago, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. This bottle has survived daily use by a very active toddler and still looks almost brand new. The durability and quality of these bottles are truly impressive, making it worth every penny.As we prepared for the new school year, we decided it was time for an upgrade, especially with the introduction of some exciting new colors. My child was thrilled to pick out a fresh one, and I have to say, the new designs are vibrant and fun.However, I did notice that the newer model (purple) seems slightly smaller than our original (mint), even though both are labeled as 12oz. It’s not a deal-breaker by any means, but it’s something worth mentioning. I’ve included a picture of both bottles side by side so you can see the difference for yourself.Overall, I highly recommend the 12oz Hydro Flask for kids. It’s durable, easy to clean, and keeps drinks at the perfect temperature for hours. Whether it’s for school, sports, or everyday adventures, this bottle has been a reliable companion.

Fits in car cup holders, doesn’t leak- perfect for kids!!!!!

This 12 oz. Wide Mouth Hydroflask, has a nicer lid then the 24 oz, Wide Mouth Hydroflask.This is perfect size, just remember ice cubes will take away some of the ounces of fluid, so you may only get 8 oz of fluid with ICE.This is the Perfect size, maybe a 14 oz, Hydroflask wide mouth with this type of lid in the future.

We have the old version of this bottle for my 3 year old. I purchased the new version for my newly 1 year old, hoping it would fix the problem with the old version’s lid becoming non functioning when disassembled for cleaning. It’s the same lid, so I’m assuming it still has the same problem unfortunately. Just pointing that out for anyone trying to decide between the two versions.

The ability to write a name on the bumper of the bottle is genius; I hate having to spend extra money on customized name stickers.This size is great. Wish they came in more colors!
