I'm a windows user but my professor advised us to learn using Ubuntu, at first it has been difficult even installing softwares but this guide helped me through all OS features. Ubuntu Networking and scripting details are presented well.

Nice and easy presentation. But more on command prompt commands should have been given like grep cp etc. For a new user the book is fine
