I Luv Halloween Volume 1 Manga (I Luv Halloween graphic novel)

This book is great book. the pictures are really good and the story line is very engaging: The kids in the book are twisted, and travel around the town collecting sweets, however an old woman gives them a trick-or-treater's worst nightmare: healthy apples. This forces them to take revenge on the sweet old lady, as they blame her for their bad collection of sweets.It's definately worth reading, however it doesn't take long to read (which can be said for all graphic novels, i suppose). It also takes a little bit of getting used to the language used in it, but once you pass that minor barrier, the book is really enjoyable.*4.5 stars*

this has to be one of the most origional funny and beautifly drawn manga books ive ever read, the art is awesome and the characters just draw you into the book and youll never want it to end dont let the look of the cover fool you its much more in-depth and much more beautiful i would recomend this to anyone who likes haloween, mischeif good art or is a teenager. =]

Where do I begin, to start with I had to make up a word to explain how could this item is (See title for word)Its got a very strange and compelling storyline which makes you want to find out what the heck is going on, all the characters are brilliantly created with hilarious personalities. A Tokyopop three-parter.This Graphic novel is sickly funny. If you’re a moralistic, avoid like the plague. If you have a sick sense of humour, then this is the book for you!It's Halloween, Finch (Skull face) and his sister Moochie the Tooth Fairy is going out trick and treating. Along the way, they meet up with his friends Puss Boy and Pig Pig. Then the mysterious friend called Devil Lad, who they only ever see at Halloween.First, off they are cursed with Apple Jackers, where everyone gives them apples. They shake this and instead gain the curse of Choco Willies only. This might be an awful Halloween for all concerned.But luckily, they break the curse by filling an apple with 90 Razor blades and having a neighbour eat it, no curse, but one dead neighbour!Along the way, they lose Moochie, she steals Nips, a local girls bra, and Finch gets the blame. Puss Boy falls in lust with the braless Nips. The two local bullies are accidently killed by Moochie.Eventually, it all works out well. As a reward for returning the bra, Puss Boy sees Nips boobs causing his head to explode and Nips faint. Meanwhile, Nips boyfriend is killed by Moochies dog, who has a taste for bollocks. Luckily he is now dead as Nips would have no use for him as a boyfriend anymore.I just love happy endings, don’t you?This is really funny and childish stuff, and I have the other two in the set to follow! Squee, Squee, Squee!As Nips says to the kids, “You little Spunk Monkey Maggots!”, now that is a real curse and a great way to end a review.
