Yes! The best huge computer monitor
I'm using this as a computer monitor connected to my Dell XPS16 laptop. I bought this to replace two aging 19" monitors. It's huge and absolutely did the job I wanted. I got a 43" monitor at work (that they paid $1500 dollars for lol) and I wanted one at home. I got this and now I have the desktop real estate of 4 monitors on 1 huge screen at home. I'm so happy.I'm using the USB-C display-port on the Dell dock. It didn't setup perfectly when I plugged it in, but as soon as I rebooted the laptop the monitor came right right up just like I wanted. The refresh rate is probably not gaming quality speed bit that's not what I'm using it for. I want to see a lot of windows space for huge spreadsheets and for Pro-Audio DAW control with Cubase. I watched some 4K videos and it's better than my TV in my living room.Windows defaulted to 300% pixel size and I set it back down to 100% and it works like 4 individual monitors, just off one device. It's huge and I love it.

Using the Samsung as a monitor with a Macintosh Studio
I am now on the third day of using the Samsung as a computer monitor. I am very pleased with the monitor. My use case primarily involves standard office tasks such as word processing, graphics, PowerPoint, and similar activities. Itâs connected to a Mac Studio M1 Max. I have no opinion on how good a monitor it would be for gaming. I wanted a monitor that had both horizontal and vertical dimensions, as I work with many word processing and graphic documents, and a wide but narrow monitor is not effective. I was able to purchase one from the Amazon resale, and the unit arrived in the original box; it had been opened, but was barely used. The protective plastic film was still on the device. However, I was almost ready to return the monitor on the first day. I have a multi-monitor display, and I set the device up using the HDMI connection with a USB-C to HDMI adapter. The system did not properly recognize it and only wanted to mirror or extend the screen. As a last step, I connected the monitor cable to the HDMI port on the Studio and moved my other monitors (three in total) to the USB. It works like a champ. The resolution is excellent for the tasks I perform. The standard settings out of the box were very bright, so I needed to reduce them. Samsung also has a function called âEye Saverâ that decreases the amount of blue light, making it much easier to view with no discomfort. An unexpected but delightful capability is that, using the provided Samsung remote, I can literally press one button to switch from being a computer monitor to an intelligent TV and watch Netflix, YouTube TV, or whatever I like; press another button, and itâs back to being a computer monitor. Iâm a big fan.

Exceeded expectations
One of the best electronic purchases I have made. Simple to use for presentations and for consuming content. Especially if you are in The Samsung ecosystem this is outstanding value.

Didn't work as a monitor
I bought this just to use as a second monitor for a Lenovo desktop PCI and a Lenovo laptop PC. It was incompatible with both. Neither of them could detect it properly, even though a Samsung tech support person insisted that it was "plug and play" and the monitor's diagnostic tests had clean results. I spent eight hours attempting to get it to work, including four of five hours on the phone and messaging with Samsung and Lenovo technical support. My Lenovo laptop has all the most current updates, including device drivers, BIOS, Windows 10 updates. I'm giving up and returning it to Amazon. This model, by the way is a 43" version. The model number on Amazon's product detail page was LS43DM703UNXGO. This is the same as the "model code" on the back of the monitor, which said the "model" was S43DM702UN and the "Type No." was S43DM702U. (Confused? I don't blame you.)Calling this device a monitor seems to be a misnomer. It's more of a complex smart TV that purportedly can be used as a monitor. The remote control is handy, but the user interface appears complex and confusing. For example, its guide to hooking up to a PC -- which appears in an illogical location in the menus -- says that if the connection doesn't work, go to Home > Menu > Connected Devices > Sources > Edit Menu. But there is no such path; there was no "Sources" selection under "Connected Devices."
