I would recommend it to others who need a lightweight, spacious, water-resistant bag. Get it ASAP
Pros: Lightweight, large size [slightly under 50L], folds into compact size, chest straps and good zippers, water resistant nylon fabric which wont tear easily, no mesh back that ruin your clothes, sturdy straps and buckles for cinching down on items, good amount of large pockets without those useless over-organized tiny pencil pockets that you'll never use.Cons: All the stitches are single stitches, only time will tell how they hold up with regular use. Certain junctions are reinforced with some zigzag stitching but I feel like all the major seams should have been reinforced as well. What I use it for: I'm a personal trainer, and in this case was looking for lightweight bag to carry some training gear and equipment, but which can also double as a grab-and-go laundry bag, shopping bag, day travel bag etc...you know, for multipurpose use. This bag fit the bill quite well. I came back to get another one in a different color. I have the black and gray ones since I live in a crowded city and don't need to be drawing attention with the super bright colors. However, if you're the type to go hiking in the woods, to go through airports often or are forgetful and don't remember where you leave your stuff, I'd recommend the brighter colors as they stand out more and are eye-catching when you need to locate them quickly.I haven't tested it with super heavy items, but for the gym gear I've put in [resistance bands, fully assembled ab roller, TRX-trainer, gym clothes and running shoes, full size yoga mat (yes, it fits when angled correctly), water bottle, towel] it holds everything with room to spare and is still light to carry on long treks because the bag itself is very light. Don't make the mistake of buying a 'heavy duty' bag that weigh a ton empty and when you add your stuff it weighs even more. After a long trek, all that extra weight will make you cry unless you're training for that kind of thing.Aside from the single stitches which I don't like, it seems that the bag would hold up to the type of use I intend or it. But again, only time will tell. I've only had it for a day.Overall, I would recommend it to others who need a lightweight, spacious, water-resistant bag. Get it ASAP.

It's AMAZING. Super lightweight and fits A TON of stuff ...
I've been using it as an everyday bag to go between work, the gym and my boyfriend's. It's AMAZING. Super lightweight and fits A TON of stuff (and believe me, being a girl I pack a bunch of unnecessary things). ANYWAY! It is such a great bag. It's comfortable, roomy, has a freakin' ton of pockets and zippers. My boyfriend has been eyeing it enviously and now I'm buying him one for when we go on a month-long backpacking adventure across Asia next week! You've got two customers for LIFE now :)

This backpack is nice and lightweight
This backpack is nice and lightweight, but there is no way it is 50L. It is much too small for my week-long trip. I just bought a different 45L pack that is much larger than this one (which was supposed to be 50L). This pack would be a nice daypack or a weekender if you travel very light.

Ultralight backpacking on a budget
I purchased this pack for the purpose of ultralight backpacking. 50L, less than a pound, for $23? I couldn't pass it up. I have not yet used it outside, but I've been preparing for an overnight backpacking trip next weekend. I've packed and repacked several times. This VP50 has held up really well so far as I've been cramming quilts, hammock, tarp, stove, etc. into it. The shoulder straps have more padding than their smaller bags, but I'd still prefer a bit more. The cinch straps hold things together pretty well. Zippers are all functional and without snags. I put a small foam pad in the interior slot to give the bag some structure and extra padding. All of the extra zippered pockets are great and the netted side pockets appear stable.Actual packed dimensions are 21.34x13.34x11.34, which is 3003 cubic inches, or 49.21 Liters.I'm giving this bag a full 4 stars. If it survives my overnight backpacking trip, I'll definitely bump it up to 5 stars.

Pleasantly surprised!
I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase! First, it arrived in a tiny little matching pouch (the same size pouch as what most hammocks come in) and I thought “Well THAT’S not what I ordered”. Then I opened the pouch and took the backpack out, whipped/shook it to see what it looked like un-shriveled, and it was actually the size I imagined! It can fit my entire fleece blanket (a thick blanket) plus there was a lot of extra room! It is comfortable, has multiple useful compartments/zipper pockets, it’s mostly waterproof (water didn’t soak into the material because the first time I used it, it started raining) and I love that it has the chest strap. It also has a lifetime warranty which I found extremely surprising, but once again so pleased! For only $22 I thought it would be an “okay” product, but I truly am impressed with what I got! THANK YOU!!!

More like 30L, tops
Much, much smaller than 50L. I don't know how they can get away with calling it 50L. It was about half the size of my friend's Osprey 45L bag. More like 30L, tops. Could fit 4 changes of clothes approximately, and it was stuffed at that.

Great as carry-on!
Used this to backpack through Asia for 2 months. Great bag! I only walked with it like 10 minutes or less at a time but even in super hot weather, it wasnt too uncomfortable while completely full. Perfect size for carry-on for the budget Asian airlines that only allow 7kg. The size kept me from overloading but held enough to last me comfortably before laundrying (for summer clothes, would not attempt with winter clothes). Held about 4-5 summer outfits (recommend rolling and tying with hair tyes for easy access), underclothes, two minimal toiletry bags, my sneakers, and a couple other misc items. Pockets and straps were amazing! Didn't have to rifle around too much for certain items and could also hook stuff on the straps. Also very durable. It still looks like new! Absolutely not waterproof though. A waterproof sleeve thing would be helpful. Again, can't comment on its use for hiking but for my purposes of minimalist backpacking, it was perfect.
