A Collection Of 21 Tamla Motown Sounds: Live In Europe 1965

I saw the tour in 1965, I had a VHS tape (which got lost in the post), still have a DVD, but I think this is the first time the audio soundtrack has been released. More or less the advent of Motown's popularity in the UK, this show was hosted by Dusty Springfield who frankly outshone the Motown acts with her three performances, all of which feature on this album (one of them a duet with Martha and The Vandellas, the other with backing vocals by the same trio). A magnificent album for anyone who adores Motown as much as I do, and a glorious reminder of an unparalleled era (the 1960s) in the development and history of popular music.
