Teachings of the Great Outdoors: Exploring Nature, Robin Finds Herself

This is a wonderful book that helps kids (and adults) recognize how to discover who they are instead of worrying about what they are going to do. The story shows how looking at all aspects of the natural world around them can help kids discover what’s inside them. And the illustrations are absolutely beautiful.

My daughter and I truly enjoyed this book. “Teaching of the Great Outdoors” is a unique and captivating book that helps children explore and connect with nature. This book teaches children how to find their path in life and encourages them to draw inspiration from nature.I adore the illustrations and the vibrant colors from this book as well. I recommend this book for your child’s diverse library. Teachers can also use this book to discuss career paths and how to find inspiration. Well done!

Nicely done and insightful

Awww what a cute story!!! As an adult I was moved and genuinely inspired . I appreciated how the outdoors was a place of solitude and peace. It allows children to slow down and feel the wind, touch the grass, and explore. In todays day children are often stuck on their electronics, barely even go outside. Children today deal with so many distractions, opinions, and even influence of peers and society from social media. This story is a beautiful opportunity to explore self with influence through nature and your everyday surroundings. I just love the simplicity for children to explore their inner depth and capacity, while growing their self worth and confidence. I totally recommend for young children boys and girls as an opportunity to share a special message!!!

First off the illustrations in this story was out of this world. The colors and detail really brought the pages to life and I felt as if I was going through nature.The story was so cute and there’s life lessons for all ages children and adults. I read this story to my 6 year old cousin and she was able to follow along easily and really enjoyed it.I also really enjoyed it myself because I never thought about how nature could connect back to ways that I can move through life to make sure that I’m being the best person that I can be.I highly recommend this book for any young person in your life and any adult you think might enjoy connecting with nature and their inner-child.

I bought a copy for my nephew and quickly fell in love with the story. This is truly a gem for any kid and specially those who may doubt themselves. A good read to reinforce good values and good habits.

The writing and illustrations are beautiful! It's a wonderful reminder of the importance of bringing our youth back into nature in this increasingly digital world. I look forward to more "Teachings of the Great Outdoors" and Robin's discoveries.

This book is such a breathe of fresh air in a world where we are taught to steer kids towards a career path/career based interests. I’ll be sure to let all the parents in my circle know this book is a must have!
