Bought these for my 8 months old pups, as I am wary of putting the chemical flea killers on my pets. Thought this may be a safe alternative, well I a very disappointed indeed! Not from the fact that it didn't deter fleas, ticks etc, as I didn't have them on my pups long enough to test this aspect, due to the device being a severe safety hazard to any animal as the plastic unit pops open so easily. This leaves the lithium battery exposed, which also pops out, if a dog or any animal or baby or small child swallowed this, that is fatal! Therefore, I cant recommend anyone buy these for this reason as they are too dangerous!

Fleas & ticks still on dog
Failed to work at all. Fleas & ticks still active, had to treat dog via vet.Impossible to keep the unit in a position on the collar, to enable sound wavesto pass along the fur. I found it a waste of money.Whether it prevents dogs getting fleas in the first instance I cannot comment.

Fleas & Ticks Still Arrive.
Despite using this item for some weeks, our dog still picks up the odd tick. No more, no less than without sadly.

Sadly disappointing
I bought this product with the optimistic hope that it would work. Alas, I was sadly disappointed as my poor lab has fleas again. It was a complete waste of money.
