I have a Pulsar Dual Fuel Portable Generator PG5250B, which I really like. I use it in a box that I built under my deck at my cabin. I can access the generator box through the back wall of my cabin by taking out a panel in the wall. I also have my solar batteries in the box. have two little screened windows in the box to exhaust the batteries, but they aren't sufficient to vent the heat and exhaust of the generator when it's turned on.By installing this exhaust I can now run the generator without poisoning myself and overheating the box. It also does a great job of knocking out a lot of the sound. I still have to leave the wall panel slightly open to keep the box cooler, but now I don't have an exhaust problem, because of this system.Things didn't fit together perfectly, but definitely close enough. If you're ordering this, I would assume you have the basic skills to file things down, enlarge the hole through the grill covering the exhaust hole, and drilling small holes into the generator body to use self tapping screws to attach the exhaust. I had to do all those things, which was not difficult. By the time I filed down the generator exhaust port slightly, this fit perfectly.The pipe is quite stiff, but with a little muscle it will bend in the way you need it too go. Mine was a lot longer than I needed for the size of my box, but by bending it the right way It works fine, and it allows me to pull my generator all the way into my cabin to work on it without detaching it from the exhaust.The system came with everything I needed. The quality if good. I recommend.

Fits fireman p06701 (8350 peak 6700 run) just fine. Could use a gasket for flange connection at muffler (I installed one). It all fits perfectly but there is no sound difference at all. It's does move the heat perfectly but it is not silenced by any means

I have a tool room in my detached garage with enough space for keeping a generator. The exhaust extension kit lets me leave it in place so all I have to do is plug in the cable and operate the switch gear. The Generator Exhaust Extension Kit with Muffler And Insulated Through-Wall Mounting seems very solid and well made, much better than what I expected. The flanged connection fit nicely on the exhaust of the genset and really keeps the noise level down outside the garage. It's still a little loud inside the garage but outside levels are only slightly above an idling car. I'm very happy with the purchase.

exhaust hose is very hard to bend and mold. this is more of a gimmick than anything

I like the overall build. Just to be sure, I ran it on the generator for about 15 min. All was well until I felt the very hot (too hot to touch) weld seam where the muffler ends and the square flang is attached. This seam will potentially rest directly on the wood sheathing outer wall of my garage. I'm going to use some 1" wood stove fiberglass gasket and a bit of air spacing at that point just to be safe.

Exactly what I was looking for to run the exsust outside in my enclosed trailer. Always be careful when closing a generator even with the exsust going outside, you can still get Co poisoning.
