Does the job!
I was searching for a battery radio for uncertain times as with a hurricane, tornado, etc. and bumped into this little gadget. It has everything I need and more. It even has a flashlight that works amazingly.

Perfect in case of an emergency.
With all of the fancy technology we have today, it is easy to forget that if there is a major emergency your fancy new electronics might not work. This is a really good way to have the ability to tune into weather or major news reports when you don't have either power or internet or tv. The radio has a hand crank so even if you don't have power you can still charge the radio. It has a built in flashlight that even though small, it is convenient to have. This is one of those items that you don't think about until you need one. I like to plan ahead, so I have one.

Great little emergency radio
AM/FM/Weather bands, earphone jack, flashlight, three ways to power it and it can also power your phone in an emergency? What’s not to like about it? I like that it has manual tuning, as digital would also drain the battery. When I received it the light levels were very low, so I cranked it for about 3 minutes and the lights definitely increased in brightness. I then plugged my own USB-C charging cord that is always ready for cell phones and it started recharging immediately. In the morning it showed 100% charged. The light clearly had three different levels. I extended the antenna and tried several AM and FM stations and it tuned them in very well without station bleed. There was only 1 weather channel and it was at the very end of the weather frequencies. (Dallas/Ft. Worth area)Working from home, I put it on my desk and tuned it to a favorite radio station. I wanted to see how quickly the power level lights would start turning off. After 8+ hours at a good volume level it still showed 100%, I WAS AMAZED. Then my wife pointed out that I didn’t cover the solar cell on top so it was probably still recharging itself. I WAS STUNNED that I didn’t catch that myself. I will have to try that test again, but it shows that the solar cell works too even with just indoor lighting. I am confident this unit will work well if I ever have to use it for it’s intended purpose – praying that will never happen.
