Floating Shelves - Wall Shelves with Wire Basket, Over Toilet, Kitchen & Living Room/Office/Plants Decor

I got these floating shelves to improve the aesthetic of our bathroom, but also to add storage options as we were lacking a bit.The kit comes with pretty much everything you need, however there was abit of confusion. The instructions were pretty simple to follow, not much detail but easy enough to understand. It says that some of the holes were pre-drilled, however this was incorrect, there were no pre drilled holes anywhere on the shelves so you have to do this yourself, which takes a bit of measuring to get it right.The quality of the shelves themselves isn’t great. They almost feel a bit flimsy and rough. The colour is nice though. After setting them all up and getting them on the wall they do look really nice and I am very happy with how they look. I also like that you can arrange them in different variations to get the look you want.

These attractive floating shelves and basket can hold quite a weight of different products. You can use in a number of ways and in different rooms in your home. Re usable over and over again meaning great value for money. Need 2 people to install and assemble as all comes flat packed.

These ended up OK on the wall. But it wasn't without a fight.The instructions are poorly written. Difficult to trust, as most of what the instructions mention, are wrong. Such as pre-drilled holes. There were none. had to do that myself, which with the wood being not the best, I had to be very careful not to split.Other measurements were off too. Not ideal.But, I got there in the end. The final product doesn't look too bad (I'm not taking it down).

The quality of this shelf set is reasonable, the metal elements are well mad and finished and the wooden shelves are lightweight. They have been stained to give them the dark colour but not particularly well and there are little bits where the original wood colour is showing through, from a distance this hopefully wont be noticeable though. They also don’t have any finish on them such as varnish or wax so I will need to give them a coat of something before putting them up, they are also a little rough so they probably need a sand too.The instructions, which are like a poor photocopy so the images are very difficult to make out, are rather basic and mention screwing in to pre-drilled holes, however there are no pre-drilled holes on the shelves so a bit of faffing and measuring is needed to get the brackets in the right place.Overall they are not too bad but do need a bit of extra work to get them looking nice and a bit of DIY skill to get them up on the wall.

We ordered these in the 'rustic' colour. Its more a kind of walnut colour than the ones pictured on the listing just now which look much darker.The shelves are nicely made, come with all fixings. The wood is very soft and light, screws go into it with no effort at all. However because the screws all but push into the wood it means the fixings and connections are really suitable for heavy items.You get two shelves with brackets and one where the basket beneath has screw fixing holes - so if you were thinking you could use these as three shelves and not have the basket, you can't.We've used these to tidy up a cupboard and they are the perfect size for in there. The screws and wall plugs all worked well and for the current price of around fifteen pounds I think they are decent value.

The set of 3 shelves arrived flat packed, but required minimal assembly. The instructions stated that there were pre-drilled holes, but sadly these were non-existent. It doesn’t totally matter that there aren’t any pre-drilled holes, as the wood is light and very easy to screw into, but it would have made it easier when lining up the brackets and ensuring they all match up.I used a bradawl to mark the screw holes, and lined the brackets up by eye and against each other in order to do so.2 shelves have standard brackets. The third has a wire basket style hanging shelf underneath. This third shelf is easily lined up and screwed together.The wood is very lightweight, but is sturdy enough, especially considering that the brackets are solid metal. The shelves aren’t going anywhere. I upgraded the included wall plugs to some metal ones that are much stronger.Overall, very happy with these. The shelves are very versatile and can be used anywhere in the home or garage.

Comes flat packed but very easy to assemble. The dark wood shelves are really attractive. I got these to go in my bathroom, & there is enough space for all of my bathroom clutter, extra loo rolls etc, & now it's out of reach of my cat & her hair. Not having to rescue my toothbrush from wherever she's run off to with it is great! Comes with all the screws & wall plugs needed, & simple instructions. I was able to put these up on my own quite easily.

This is a neat set of floating shelves with added storage. Perfect for the downstairs loo with the storage basket housing some loo rolls but they’re versatile enough to use in the kitchen or wherever you like.They’re only really suitable for smaller items, but for decorative purposes they’re a good looking trio, I really like them.All screw fixings are provided and if you can use a drill then they’re pretty straightforward to put up and take no time !
