I have purchased several other tools in the past because they "looked good" that turned out to be very cheaply made, I was skeptical with this one while deciding if I wanted this one or not. However, I knew I made the right choice as soon as I removed the crimper from the case. It is a pretty heavy solid built tool that instantly feels like quality when you use it. The assortment of connectors is a huge plus that came in handy on my first wiring project last week. This comes in a sleek thin case that makes it perfect for storing on any boat!

I do numerous tasks around the house where this kit has come in handy. The quality is well for the price. Have not had any issues with the connections.

This is one heavily built crimped and O love having one finally dedicated to three crimps only. I own a lot of crimping tools from 40 years old to present with the multiple jaw inserts and this is my me work go to.The case alone deserves a review for strength and design! Great job! Nice clasps and hinges.The tool is labeled and easy to identify which crimping opening to use plus it ratchets to make sure you get the best crimp even if your hand slips or needs repositioning for a better grip.Speaking of grip… this one is robust and should not cause any hand bruising like those thin dipped in rubber ones.Now about that case it comes in… it is a two part case! I didn’t notice that in the original ad photos.This case has the crimped on top followed by an lift out tray (again good quality) with the crimp on terminals in a nice divided bottom.This is a great setup and I have no problems telling you to buy this one!Remember, make sure your high amp DC and high voltage AC is turned off before your start messing around. Safety first, good crimps second and don’t forget there are torque specifications on terminating points for a reason! I am sure you remember over torquing and watching a cheap terminal (back in the day) literally smush its self right off of the threaded and nut area.

I had never even thought before that we could have our crimping tool AND the heat shrink connectors in one place. As much of a pain as it was, for years we would always locate our crimping tool but then had to dig to find the connectors. I am unsure why I have never thought of this before but it is a life changer! The case even comes compartmentalized so your connectors stay organized in travel with the tool sitting nicely in a separate compartment on top.The tool itself works perfectly and we have not had any issues with the connectors coming apart, even in a Power Wheel that a three year old drives non-stop because we used these connectors to help us modify it to hold a drill battery instead of its typical battery. I can guarantee if these connectors were going to fail us they would have by now being as how hard she rides it. The tool was able to provide us with the ability to apply the perfect amount of pressure. I am very happy with it!
