It holds water and comes with a few different attachments. Great for camping or when a storm is coming that could potentially freeze your pipes or knock out electricity if you use an electric pump for water. I definitely recommend washing it out before first use.

I have two of these five gallon water carriers from the same manufacturer. Unlike other water jugs these had a lower smell of manufacturing and required less time to sterilize. I use them to transport water and hold water in my camp and my minimalist mini house. I noticed that the seal on the water spigot and the fill hole require initial adjusting to stop leaks. It would be better if the rubber seal was integrated in the caps.

The color is a bit strange for potable water but perfect for my use. I have a marine toilet on board my 1940s camper and I don't have tanks. If I'm not hooked up to shore utilities I've been sol. This is short enough to fit under my camper and small enough that I can manage the size. I can throw it on my magnacart to wheel to the dump station or put it in the car to drive there. This jug is perfect for camping, beach trips or having for emergency water. It came in handy during hurricane Baryl. It is very well made, doesn’t leak, works as expected and looks and feels durable. I plan on getting another!

It is indeed leakproof as advertised. I filled it with some water and held it upside and not a leak came out.The two-handle design is practical. The handle on the same side as the openings is ideal way for carrying it, while the other handle is for lifting it from its side to utilize the spigot. Though when standing on the spigot side, that side could benefit from better reinforcement.The spigot itself works fine. You have to open up the little silicone cap on the bigger 3.5" mouth or otherwise there's a vacuum.However, a few minor issues prevent it from getting a perfect score. I found the carrying strap doesn't make much sense. Following the placement as shown in the pictures, the weight distribution felt unbalanced when the container was full. Additionally, the brush was too flimsy and bent easily while cleaning the inside, so I had to stop using it.At around $40, the price is fair for a 5-gallon container.

I have several of these and love them. Easy to use, easy to clean, no leaks, easy to use spigot... great way to store some water for emergencies.I recommend everybody get at least one.
