A brightly coloured tartan, generous fit, kilt
The kilt arrives loosely folded inside a clear press-top plastic bag. Whilst the Amazon product description states that this is 100% Acrylic and for dry clean only there is no composition information or washing instructions on the kilt, so you need to remember this. The only label on the kilt says “46”. This is advertised as a sport kilt rather than a traditional generally woollen kilt, and could be worn for sporting activities.The pleats of the kilt are held together with a loosely sewn piece of string, (for transportation - I assume) and this was removed. The kilt is held closed with buckles on either side and has a loosely attached piece of fabric at the front. The kilt is waist 60cm-70cm / 46” – 50”, the waist size can be adjusted and is a generous fit. It is length 54cm / 21”. There are no pockets. There are leather/leather-like straps at the waist that can be adjusted to change the waist size. The kilt is quite light but feels fairly warm to wear and is of a reasonable quality. It looks smart.

Sizes are very large
Bought this kilt for the Aberdeen Kilt Walk 2024. On the advice seen in previous reviews I ordered a size smaller than my true measurement. I would strongly advise anyone looking to purchase this kilt to order 2-3 sizes less to ensure that it fits comfortably and doesn't end up round your ankles.Brilliant Kilt overall
