The media could not be loaded.  I shared the pack of child locks with my daughter since we wish to protect our grandchildren/children.The lock mechanism comes with an alignment frame. You fit both parts of the lock to the frame and then stick it with the strong sticky strips to the inside top surface of the cupboard. Then you expose the front sticky strips and close the door onto them and that gets the door side of the lock fitted and correctly aligned. Then finally you remove the alignment frame. For older (and stronger) children, the manufacturers then recommend adding screws. We did not use screws - our 5- and 7-year olds would not go into those cupboards in any case, so the main protection is for the 18 month old toddler.The fitting process was easy and I have included photos showing the various stages of fitting.The locks are designed so that they cannot be opened without the magnetic "key" - so children who may be smart enough to defeat many other cupboard child locks will not be able to get around these.However, it can be quite difficult finding the right spot on which to place the magnet in order to open the cupboard - I have included a video to illustrate this. I would recommend that you find a small but transparent sticker to stick on the door to mark the spot where the magnet needs to go in order to open it. I have recommended to the manufacturer that they make the magnet wider so that accurate placement is not necessary. If the room is quiet then you can hear the lock work when the magnet is in the right position.I think it is a clever design; I like them and would recommend them, but I would also recommend sticking something unobtrusive that won't spoil the look of your kitchen units onto the sweet spot where the magnet operates.UPDATE: I recently discovered that the locks have a small switch in the bottom edge that allows you to disable them. That is perfect for us because the locks are there to protect our grandchildren - this means that we can switch the locks off when they are not around and have free access to the cupboards for ourselves, and then switch them back on again when we are expecting little ones to be around. For this unexpected feature, I am also upgrading my 4 stars to a 5 star rating.

Product meant i could lock the cupboards and the baby hand nothing to grab and pull at like traditional baby locks. I much prefer the hidden style like this.Theyre easy to applyI only had 1 that unstuck but that was because it was the 1st one i had applied so had been repositioned a couple of times.But you get plenty of extra 3m strips in with the itemI also love that you can leave them unlocked. So if the baby is in bed and your cooking etc you do not need to reach for the key every 2 minutes to open all the cupboards!Quickly opened with the touch of the magnet. I have attached one under the top cupboards.And the spare is on my fridge!Would definately reccomended these!Just need to find a way to stop little one opening the washing machine now! HahaThankyou!

Initially I was confused when reading the installations provided but they were really easy to install when I got the hang of it.Also I suggest you screw them in which are provided. With a little bit of force, I was able to pull the tabs off with just sticky tape adhesive.. not sure if this'll work for the slightly stronger/older/stubborn kids.Overall I will recommend this product as they work as intended, products are like the image, and the kids are safe for a while not just the first few years. Plus it's a bonus to see the confused adults haThank you :)

The media could not be loaded.  What I like most is that they can't be seen. The whole thing is on the inside and with the help of the magnet the cupboard opens. You have to be careful how you put them to fit both the cabinet door and the inside of the cabinet. if you read the instructions carefully and follow them, they are quite easy to put on. I only used them with glue. I mean, I didn't put the screws anymore. They hold very well with just the glue on them. I've had them for a few months and they haven't come off at all. My child pulls the cabinets every day to open them and they did not come off. I think it's a good idea that the whole thing is on the inside and on the outside we touch it with a magnet and the door opens.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Easy to fit with spare sticky pads if you mess up. You get two magnets and there is a little guide you use to install. Full.instruction given I fitted 6 in a matter of 10 minutes without issue. 1yr old gives them a really good test regularly by giving them a good rattle and they have help up well so far.

Sturdy, easy to attatch. Simply take the tab off the back and stick - they are strong. Can be hard to open when attatched even for an adult! A little frustrating but stops little hands getting into cupboards.

New house, new baby and needed new locks. Have these fitted on cleaning cupboards and other low down units with anything dangerous in them. Very easy to fit and work well. Look great because can't see them from the outside once fitted and have stood up well to the door being tugged and pulled when people not aware they are there. Initially takes a while to get trick of matching magnet to opening point on first attempt so would recommend you try to fit at similar point on all units to make life easier. Used clasp type in last house but these look better, fit easier and have proved more durable so far. Woul highly recommend.

I installed these with training from their video... it took me a little while to do the first two but once you get the hang of it it was fairly straightforward to put them on.. I’ve bought these to keep my two dogs out of my kitchen cupboards...they are probably stronger in their paws than a child so I’m very pleased so far!
