NRSVue Holy Bible: New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition: British Text in Durable Hardback Binding

This edition is the latest (updated) Anglicised version of the NRSV. Regarded by leading scholars as the best translation on the market. Highly acclaimed.

I love this edition of the bible. The wording is perfect and the size is great No dustcover or slipcase, though.It was bought as a baptism gift and I thought it was a white bible from the picture. Unfortunately, it was grey but I felt with time running out, it would do. However, it came without any protective covering in a package together with a black boxed item from China which damaged the edges of the bible and stained it black in places. I have since bought another on its own.

I like and value this translation very much. For me, the paper in this edition was a bit too thin, and the print showed through a bit too much. This will not bother everyone, but it did bother me. I bought a version form a different publisher which I thought was better - not perfect, but better.
