I enjoyed this book. The language was definitely from another era. It was very interesting to see the difference between them and now.

This book is super cool! It's a fancy version of "Around the World in Eighty Days." Nice pictures and a neat layout make the story come alive. Even if you don't read a lot, you'll like this.It's about a guy going on a big trip, and it's fun to follow along. I feel like I’m traveling from my comfy chair. It's a really good story about never giving up and seeing new places. You'll love it from the first page to the last.

This is a classic tale told only in the adventuresome way that Jules Verne can. The main character, Phileus Fogg is so calm cool and collected. He never gets upset or frets no matter what. His sidekick servant man is my favorite character though. He just bumbles into many difficult situations that his master has to get him out of. Their trip around the world is exciting and hair-raising. It makes you want to keep reading the whole thing to see if they make it before time runs out and Mr. Fogg loses the bet. Well-developed characters and fun to follow plot.

Plotline is good. But sometimes hard to understand. A classic for sure! Listen to with audio, much better

Brilliant stuff, I love it. “Make haste.”The journey of Phileas Fogg around the world is a timeless classic. I read all the classics as a child, my favourites were always ones that involved the sea - Treasure Island, Robinson Crusoe, Swiss Family Robinson.In later life, I read some works by Thomas Hardy and the Brontë sisters. Other childhood memories include Tom Brown’s Schooldays and tales like Ivanhoe.

It was entertaining to read 'Around the World in Eighty Days' again as an adult. It still has all the exciting adventure but the language and descriptions read so well. With all the modern writing it's nice to go back in time an enjoy a classic. Lovely illustrations depict the Victorian era. If you're an avid reader, young or old, you won't be disappointed by Mr. Phileas Fogg and his adventures.

I'd forgotten how much I love this story and it's characters. The period-appropriate illustrations make a lovely touch and really make you feel like you are there sharing the journey with Philias Fogg and Passepartout. Will be introducing this version to my children.
