The female thread is really long..
The female thread is way longer than the male thread. I tried to put it over a stop cock, but the thread is so long in the female side that it hit the lever of the stopcock before it got to the point of sealing.I can't figure out why they decided the female thread side needs to be over twice as long as the male thread side..Really annoying, because it wasn't exactly cheap.Male side is 1cm longFemale side is 2cm longIf you have something that will be in the way from the end of the pipe, at sub 2cm, this won't fit.
