WOW!!!
this item is simply...wow! its shoots far, hold lots of water, and shoots a huge blast of water. there are so many good things about this water gun that im gonna make a pro and con list.con:heavy gun when fully loaded. would not reccomed this gun for kids under 10yrs old.recuires 20-30 full pumps for good shot. not good if ur on the run. great if ur attacking and u have an extra team mate with a gun also so while ur pumping they can be shooting of the enemy.pros:shoots farshoots large amount of watercan soak someone with one shothas a blast sheild that is compatable with most nerf items that have a tactical railThis gun is great for defending bases because your attacking not attacking then retreating.some word of advise would be to buy this item only if it has amazon prime because regular shipping can 2 weeks to arrive where amazon prime only takes about 3-4 days and its free.this gun is also powerfull enough to give you a kick sort of speak. great and powerful gun. hope this helped some.

for fun
This gun is fun for a quick attack but takes to much time to prepare for another strike. It is cool for attacking 1 person at close range but otherwise its too long to reload.

Grandson loves it
My grandson loves soaking his grand mother and brother with this high powered monster. It is a great gift for him.

no fun with this water gun
Pros - it's big and it looks goodCons - you have to pump it 20 times, and for all that effort, it just spurts out one quick blast of water. Then you have to pump it 20 times again. The description says "fires a water stream" so I expected a nice powerful stream of water, not just one quick shot. You get tired pretty quickly and spend most of you time pumping it up ratherthan shooting water.

Too much work for too little enjoyment
The super soaker delivers a big blast as stated but only after a lot of pumping. It takes a lot of effort and time to get each blast of water and the toy is rather heavy when fully loaded. My 11 year old son found it too awkward to operate and went back to his plunger-style water gun. Wish we had kept the packing for a return.

1 shot and your soaked
I bought this for my 8 month old son...actually that's what I told my wife when the huge box arrived :) I really got this for a backyard bbq where I knew I would only get one or two shots at best before the one man water gun assault would be shut down. So what I did was wait for everyone to get well lubricated from the supplied refreshments and then snuck off to my trunk and grabbed the Hydro Cannon. I read an earlier review that said you had to prime it before you use it and that was true for me as well. I took it to the front yard and fired off a tank full. I found the second tank after 15-20 slow pumps would throw a solid stream about 20ft. So the only thing left was to throw some ice in the tank and find a victim. I snuck up behind my buddy at the cooler and hid behind the blast shield and called his name. The look on his face before I fired was of complete disbelief and confusion. I let loose the Cannon and all you could hear was the sound of the stream hitting its mark and the shriek my friend let out as ice cold water completely soaked him. I then hastefully made my retreat as the ice from the cooler was being thrown at my head. Long story long...this thing is a devastator; just make the first shot count.

Don't hate, learn how to use it.
First off let me say that this weapon is basically a water RPG and should be used similarly to one, as opposed to a rifle/pistol like most water guns. Instead of shooting a thin stream of water like most water guns nowadays do, the Hydro Cannon uses CPS technology from the golden age of Super Soakers to launch one massive blast of water (similar to a water balloon or the riot blast from a Super Soaker Arctic Blast). It takes some strength to pump and wield so it is better suited for teens and adults than children. It works best in team battles, where it can be carried by your "Heavy" class. In order to use this weapon properly, one must also carry a medium-sized secondary weapon as its main shortcoming is how long it takes to charge another shot. When used correctly, this weapon offers a great intimidation factor as your opponents never know if the Hydro Cannon on your back is primed or not.

this gun is almost three feet long. u have to pump it 15-20 times which takes strength. overall i think a little big for kids.
