Fantastic for reading and even gives a surround view of your videos.
I use it with my Kindle for reading. I stopped reading for awhile because I just could not see the words well enough anymore. Looking forward to reading again. Even my You Tube videos are amazing! It gives a surround kind of image, a little like a theater. I lay down with my kindle in its extension arm and put the device around my neck and adjust the magnifier up against the kindle as close as I want. I have noticed that it may not be ideal while lying down as the flexible neck piece goes around the neck and can rub a bit.

Good
First off the negative i only have one, it needs 3 AAA batteries, and it didn't come with them so that was a pain. Other then that its great. I got this for crafting crisstitching, diamond art, crocheting.. So wrapping it around my neck and looking though to see projects better is why I got it. It's very lite weight so it won't put pressure on your neck. Definitely recommend getting this, just get batteries.

Perfect for Close up Work
Decided to purchase this when I had surgery on my nose and was unable to wear reading glasses for a few weeks. Frustrating to use handheld magnifying glasses to read a page on a magazine. Saw this and decided to go buy it and have been pleased with the clarity. It is lightweight, flexible enough to bend where I need it and has been a very useful tool. Definitely would recommend.

Comfortable Even with my Eyeglasses On
I ordered this magnifier set to replace an old plastic headband-style magnifier that I've been using for a few years because I get a headache from the stiff plastic strap. This magnifier can be used with earpieces on the side or with an elastic headband that is more adjustable and far more comfortable than my old one. I use it mostly with the earpieces so I can take it on and off easily, and it stays put even on my big head. When wearing it for longer periods of time, or when I'm going to be looking down at my work, I use the headband, which is more secure than the earpieces, and is still comfortable. The magnifiers themselves are a coated plastic and include a nice storage case that will prevent them from getting scratched. Attaching and removing the magnifier is simple - they just snap into the connector on the head unit. Changing the magnification requires swapping the magnifiers, and there is no way to "stack" them, so you're limited to the 1.0 to 3.5 magnification range. That's plenty for the model building I use these for and if I need more magnification, I can use my desktop magnifier in addition to this set.The LED light is pretty bright, and the angle can be easily adjusted to aim it right at your work. The battery compartment is easy to open, but the battery is soldered in place and is not user replaceable unless you're comfortable soldering small wires and can find a replacement battery. The battery in mine is not labeled, so I just hope it lasts a long time.As for using these while wearing eyeglasses, that will depend on your eyeglasses. I wear them with mine and they fit just fine, with plenty of clearance between my glasses and the magnifier. The nose piece slips in right behind the frame of my glasses, and does a fine job of holding the head set in place. Putting them on over glasses can be a little bit awkward, but once you do it a few times, it's easy. If I use the elastic headband, I have to remove my eyeglasses, put these on, and then put my glasses on, so that the headband doesn't squash the temples of my glasses against my head.Overall, this is an excellent set of magnifiers for a really good price. I just wish I had found them sooner.

5x magnified disappointment
This was quite disappointing. The light is quite bright which is good and adjustable but they don't tell you about how it reflects off any thing you're trying to read on. Felt more like a child's toy instead of a real magnifying glass, which I believed it was going to be. If you have any visual deficiencies like I do don't bother to buy this. Just an all around disappointment.

Okay Magnifying Headset
As a disclaimer note, I received as part of the Amazon Vine program for the purpose of giving an honest review.First, I've noticed the product page is now for a completely different type of magnifier so it seems the listing manager has decided to recycle reviews by swapping information. My review is for the Headset Magnifier that was once on here. The headset is okay, plastic feels a little on the cheap side, and the light is just so-so in brightness. The lenses come packed in a nice storage case and seem to be optically clear. Magnification goes from ~1.5x to 5x and is done via swapping the lens on the headset. There is a headstrap included if you want to go that route. I would have preferred a wider range in the magnification options, as it's basically just in 1x steps with no stacking ability. Good at the a decent price, but not the best quality.

Great for detail painting
Didn't realize how handy this would be till I started using it. I do quite a bit of detail painting of 3D printed models and they can be quite tiny. These are really helpful and make painting much easier with way less eye strain. The light is a great feature and can be repositioned to suit your needs. It's rechargeable and the battery life seems good. You can also swap out the magnifying lenses to either increase or decrease the magnification strength. I will say, they seem to come off rather easily, but if you aren't shaking your head a bunch for some reason, it shouldn't be an issue. It hasn't negatively impacted the performance in my opinion as when I paint, I'm pretty still. The included cleaning cloth is a nice touch and the lenses come in a protective case. Very happy with this head magnifier.

Bought this as a gift for my Dad. .
Bought this as a gift for my Dad. Very helpful for reading the newspaper and writing out checks. Also good for reading the small print on mail. Wish the viewing screen was a little larger.
