I build backplates at work and mount cables to them for the iPad. I had a customer order a dual system and so needed something to hold the second cable when not in use, this mounted easily to the backplate and worked like a charm. I am very happy with these and will be using them regularly now.

If you read some of the reviews, you'll see that stars are taken away because the cables don't slide easily in this holder.the intent of this holder is to hold cables in place. You remove the cable to use it, the put it back when you're done. This holder, being spring loaded, adjusts to various computer cables and won't work for very thick power cables, but it works nicely for all of my USB and video cables.This holder allows me to get some of my power supplies off the desk, but still keep the plugs handy. You might want rig up some sort of a weight (like a heavy washer) to help the cord drop down into the holder.I see uses for both types. On my bedstand, I prefer the Lamicall clip type holder - I remove the cable, plug it in to the phone, then snap it back in when I unplug the cord. I can do both in the dark.My wife prefers the other type, just pull it up and plug in, the unplug at it drops back down (if there is a weight on the cord).And then, of course, there is the magnetic type, where a magnet is attached to the end of the cable and attaches to a metal plate that you adhere to the back of your desk. I find this type a bit too fiddly - especially if it is somewhere you can't readily see, but there are places these might work better.But getting back to the original review - the Lamicall clips are my favorite for normal use - nothing attached to the cables, clips in easily, holds well and - if placed carefully (like on the back edge of a desk) - virtually invisible. So far, nothing has broken. A solid 5 stars.

I haven't tried to remove these, so I rated them a 3/average since I don't know how that will go. Otherwise, these are super easy to use. The little springs inside hold the cord in place. and let you take it out easily if you need to. They have adhered well to the underside of a table, and to the back of an end table, and held up with me removing and replacing the eend of the cords in and out of the holder quite a lot. They keep the end of the cord within reach, so when I want to charge my phone, it's so easy to find, pull it out over to my phone, then put it away when I'm done.

Great product for a good price. The clips adhered to the back of my furniture and I was able to quickly adjust them if I didn’t align them properly when affixing. My cables don’t slip off behind the furniture anymore and I can slide the cords out of sight when not needed. Removing the cables from the clips is very easy . Glad they came in black so they’re not as noticeable on my dark furniture. I purchased matching cables as well. Happy with my purchase.

They work fine, but you can only put one cable in. Even two small ones pop out.

These didn’t work well for me. The design is sleek and simple but if there is even a tiny bit of tension on the cable it pops right out. I was using one to keep my phone charger from falling on the floor but if anything touched the cable even slightly it would slip out of the clip. Electrical tape would have worked better unfortunately :(

These are terrific! I have a swing-table over my bed and when I push it away after watching a movie in bed, I had to either leave my laptop plugged in all night, or unplug it and let the cord fall to the floor. This nifty clip solves it beautifully. It is affixed to the swing-table, and the clip is so easy to use: you just lay the cord on it and gently push down and it's held securely until you want to take it out - taking it out is also a breeze. These are so sturdily made of metal, and small - so they don't take up much room - and the adhesive strip holds it very strongly in place. I love this solution! Packaged in a beautiful box with each clip individually in its own little bag - very elegant presentation.EDIT: I just discovered that these work excellently with medical tubing as well! i.e. for my G-tube Kangaroo feeding bag, as it drains clean water into the sink, the tubing would keep falling into sink (not too sanitary to have it touching the sink drain), or roll off the sink edge and get the whole counter wet. It takes considerable time to drain the bag, so I am never in the kitchen watching it. I attached one of these clips to a small dessert plate which I hang over the edge of the sink, and now the tubing is held securely by the clip on the plate. I could envision these being used widely in hospitals.

These sturdy but lightweight clips are perfect for purpose. As a disabled person I need to secure my chargers and similar at a height I can access them as bending to floor level isn’t an option. These holders are easy to apply to any hard surface, they are perfect size and easy to stick in any hard surface. They even look smart. I have now put them in various places around my home to keep everything in east reach, they are perfect for my needs and I will be buying more.

Questi fermacavi sono di buona fattura, possono essere utilizzati con cavi di differente spessore (purché rotondi), da quelli più fini di un caricabatterie a quelli più spessi tipo le prolunghe usb, inoltre, grazie al sistema di ritensione a molla, sono in grado di trattenerli senza alcun problema, siano cavi in gomma o telati. Il biadesivo applicato sulla parte inferiore aderisce bene e regge senza problemi il peso.Una cosa per me molto comoda è che sono in grado di tenere il cavo fermo alla lunghezza desiderata in modo che il peso del cavo stesso non sia in grado di trascinare il dispositivo che viene connesso (come accade ad esempio con gli auricolari che pesano poco), tutto rimane dove lo mettete.
