The media could not be loaded. This is well made and sturdy. Everything fits together nicely and the installation went mostly smoothly. It is a good sized fan, I did not realize how much space it would take, but I found a spot for it. The listing suggests that it may float above the spinning blades. It does not. This is NOT a hologram like you see in movies. Despite the deceptive listing, I knew this before hand that it could not be and am trying to review this based on my expectations. Still a ding for being a bit misleading.This makes noise when working, it is swinging thick blades through the air after all, but it is not bad. Music, conversation, even crowd noise could still be heard and may be more bothersome then the blade noise. The video is of the default files it comes with, and there is a rolling shutter effect that is not there in person. That is because of the phone camera is not able to be in sync with the spinning of the blades. This is normal and NOT a problem with the display, but it is probably why they don't have actual video of it working in the listing. The video in the listing is simulated, but within reason for accuracy… except for the width of the "news book" display or the comparative size of some of the examples.My biggest gripe is the software. The android app is not in the google app store, so I am not installing it on my main phone (problem for me there!). Fortunately there is windows software that works! (and that I trust my anti-virus to help, and I run it on a computer I have nothing important on, it just runs a few machines.) The way to connect is through wifi. The instructions are decent, but not awesome, I was able to figure things out, but not everyone will. Extra bonus is that it sores the video files on a micro SD card. … Which I have yet to put in a computer, but in theory that is a way to get the images you want on the display.Easy to put together, not as easy to use, still a good deal of fun.

Not sure if I received a defective unit but this is not a holographic display. I ran it through the built in graphics as well as using the app and downloading a graphic and none of them appear any more than a flat display. What a disappointment.

This is a unique way to make something appear 3D and is something that most have not seen before. The pre loaded videos look great but creating your own imagery/videos the quality is not great. There is a mobile app that you download but it is not very user friendly. My hope was to be able to create custom messages for parties, etc. The quality of making your own is poor so that is why I gave this a 3-star review.The fan is not super loud but you obviously can tell that it is running. Hopefully they improve the mobile app in the future!
