It's a small saw that has it's place.
This is a light duty, small saw, so it has definite limitations. Not for continuous hard use. Cost was 1/3 the price of the AS-TV unit it's obviously the relative to. Works great for small projects and thinner materials and occasional tight places. It's not a worm drive Skill saw for hard driven construction site projects. Comes in handy for craft projects too. Works nice for 1/2" drywall hole repairs and electrical cutouts with the vacuum attachment.

bad design in deep control.
totally insecure deep control. See photo. There is bump the arrow point to which suppose design for secure the deep control position. 1. The bump is too small to have good lock in. 2. It is not good design for tighten parts. Yes if you tighten it very hard it may OK for you but not last long.

Good for Basic Projects & Price
This suits my very basic beginner’s projects needs for the price range I could afford. It could stand to have an additional safety feature, but overall, I’m happy with it for what I need at the moment.
