WENSIX Ergonomic High Back Computer Gaming Chair for PC Racing Chairs with Adjustable Footrest and Backrest (Black/Blue)

So I ordered this chair and another, more expensive, Top Gamer chair, and can now compare the two and give reviews accordingly. I will say first that this is a great chair, but you are getting what you pay for. This chair is fairly easy to put together, although it does not come with instructions, which is annoying but not a huge problem. After it's put together, I realized that it's a very comfortable chair, even though I personally didn't like the head pillow, as it really became a neck pillow for me. It is removable however, and is something that the more expensive Top Gamer chair does not have. Now I personally don't understand the design choice to make the wheels a seperate color than the rest of the chair, but again, I'm just nitpicking. An issue that prevents this chair from getting it's full 5 stars for me is the strange decision to not let the arm rests rotate. If somehow I put the chair together wrong (due to lack of instructions) maybe Wensix could let me know if they're supposed to, and I'll change my review. Also, if you're not a fan of the Wensix logo, then it might be annoying that it is in three places on this chair if you have the two pillows set up, which feels a bit excessive. The chair is pretty stiff, but that's the point for these kind of chairs, and has a nice feeling finish, and the pillows feel like memory foam. The chairs back can also be reclined to a 180 degree angle,which is a nice feature. All in all, this is a great chair, especially for the money, but you have to be willing to sacrifice the arm rests not being able to move, and the weird design choices with it's colors and logos.Side note, upon unzipping the outside finish of the chair, there is a weird plastic covering the foam of the chair, I haven't seen this before in a chair. The foam also seems slightly dirty underneath that plastic, so I'm just going to leave it there. The plastic only makes noise when pressed on in the back of the chair, and not when you are sitting on the chair, so no worries.

The chair is very comfortable, and while assembly was not super quick, and there was an issue with one of the bolts not fitting well, overall it worked out well. The class 4 gas lift in the unit that I received has started to leak. I contacted the seller, and they issued me a refund for the price of the left so that I could purchase a new one. It took a bit of time to get it all worked out. overall it was an acceptable solution. There were a few hiccups in the process though. Overall I really like the chair and would def recommend.

Overall I really like this chair. I got it because at the time it was one of the few reasonable chiars with a footrest. But it did start to squeak after only 2 days and its gotten a lot worse. So while the comfort is great and I feel like I can fall asleep in this guy when its reclined easily I have a hard time recommending it to others. I feel like a chair this expensive made for reclining should not make so much noise in under just 2 weeks of use. If noise does not bother you then I'd say you will probably be very happy with this chair.Update 1: So a month later the squeak was just killing me coming from a good ikea office chair that never squeaked in 5 years. So I purchased a replacement $20 lift mechanism from Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0739V66DS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . I'm about 220 lbs and Now the chair makes no noise and the lift controls no longer have that cheap feel of the original. Shame Wensix used a cheap part to cut corners. That choice cost this chair a 5 star rating from me. To pimp your chair even more i recomend these rubber wheel replacements ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MS44JMH/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) but the original wheels are just fine.

Comfort level, great.Within a week of having it, I had to order a different gas cylinder. The one that came with it failed. I use it at work because I have a bad back and this actually helps my back. When sitting down if the cylinder is extended at any height, it immediately begins releasing.Overall the chair is very well designed, coworker has a different brand and it is extremely wobbly at the base where it connects to the gas cylinder, this one has no wobble. lumbar cushion supports the lumbar well which is where I have the back problems.I would recommend the chair, but, replace the gas cylinder.

This chair is amazing. It tilts all the way back and adjusts to pretty much any pivot point. The arm rests are adjustable which is rare and a huge plus. The padding is fairly comfortable though I will likely buy a soft pad to complement it, but I like my beds and furniture very soft so it all depends on your preferences. I'd put this as a medium firm feel to it. I will say I was conflicted about the pillow on the back and headrest but since it's removable anyways I figured the risk was low so gave it a shot, BUT I LOVE THEM. I don't think i'll ever go back to not having them. My only complaint is the top pillow is smaller which make sense when you have the bottom one at the bottom, but if you pull it up for back support to site up the headrest is well out of reach so I'll have to purchase another pillow to add to it somehow. Overall great chair, could use a few improvements but that would add to the cost and they can be resolved easily enough with add-ons which I plan on doing and not everyone would want them so I have no complaints about what it came with for the price.

I wanted to wait a reasonable amount of time to post a review. But man this thing is good. You're getting the same comfort and look of a high end gaming chair for half the price. It's helped improve my posture , and I no longer have back pain while playing video games for hours on end. No signs of wear and tear. Much Props to wensix!

I had high hopes for the chair, however after owning it for six months, not only does the air cylinder not stay up where it's set but I've also had the wheel frames start to crack...

I bought this chair because I’m only 5’4”. They advertise that the seat area is Size(W×D): 20.8×18.9inch. WRONG!

Bought this for wife, 5'3" 129# she loved it for the last few months but now the hydraulic part is failing.

Good chair but the gas cylinder came broken. Literally 1 month after and the chair goes down by itself.

This chair is well made with very good quality....i just have a few issues with it that keep me from giving it 5 stars....
