Zirh Aloe Vera Shave Gel, 3.3 Fl Oz

I have been using Zirh for something like 15 years, after it was mentioned on the first iteration of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I have a heavy, curly beard, and the mass-market stuff just wasn't working. To shave, I begin with the Zirh Prepare pre-shave oil, and let it set for a minute or two. I then apply a nice thin layer of Zirh Shave Gel, and again let it set a minute or two (this helps soften your beard!) Then, I wet my clean blade and slowly shave, not exerting too much pressure, and rinsing after every stroke. I clean my razor (a Gillette Mach 3) with a spritz of alcohol after use to really clean anything that may be on it. Wipe off my face, and apply my Zirh Soothe Post-Shave lotion. About 8 years ago I started shaving my head, and I follow the same procedure, and use a separate razor for it. Zirh has kept both my face and my head in a nice close shave and irritation free.

Excellent product. Have no idea why anyone would not like this gel. I used my own clear shave gel mixture for years because foam and lather do not allow me to see where I am shaving, and it is difficult to shave around the edges of facial hair without being able to see the edges clearly. Decided to try Zirh and am using the sensitive skin version. It really does work. It helps prevent nicks and cuts. Leaves my skin feeling refreshed and soothed. I have had no razor burn with this product. It is better than any shave gel or shave cream I have ever used, including my own. My face looks better than it has in years, even the chin area where I had a goatee until recently. That chin area always gave me fits when shaving, but not anymore. The skin is clear and smooth.I can't say enough good things about Zirh. You should try it. By the way, just a thin layer is all it takes.

Originally bought for travel. At 3.4 ounces a tube it fits the TSA limit spot-on and lasts incredibly long (even using it at home now since it is so much better than anything else I've tried). Unlike the $1-3$ travel cremes that last 1-2 trips/weeks, a tube of this can run for months and takes up 1/3rd to 1/2 the space of the pressurized foam tin cans -- which allows you to put more of what you need in your 3-1-1 TSA approved baggie.It's a shave gel/oil that you can see through for getting great beard lines.I have curly hair, which means my beard grows in 99 directions at once. I've tried dozens of different gels/cremes/foams with all sorts of additives and claims that left my skin agitated and bumby and half un-shaven... but this stuff works -- it shaves smooth and clean. It may take you 1-3 shaves to get used to the change-up and see the advantages, but this makes all the difference.I doubt I'll ever use anything else now that I found this.

My husband LOVES the Zirh shave gel. He usually gets the jar of gel as it is featured in the photo for this product listing. When he was unable to find the jar at our local retailer, I went online hoping to buy it for him. However, the 4oz size is NOT the jar - it is a very small tube. I should have realized that the jar is more than 4oz.(8.4oz, to be exact) and this was not the amazing deal it appeared to be, but I wasn't paying attention and went according to the photo. Very unpleasant surprise when I received my very tiny tube of this very awesome shave gel. Other than the misrepresentation of the size, I like this product. My husband likes that it is clear, rather than opaque, so he can see the hairs as he's shaving. I've used it a few times and it is pretty good stuff. Not too strong-smelling and fairly moisturizing without clogging up your razor blades.

So I'm a guy that's been shaving for a long time, I'm pretty hairy. I shave my head nice and bald with a shaped goatee. (which is why I really wanted a clear gel)I've been using barbasol for ages, but recently tried the stuff from Gillette and dollar-shave club. This morning when I slapped this goo on my face and head I was shocked at how different it felt as I shaved away my memories of razor burn.This stuff is legit, and a great price! It goes on with a cool feel and is silky smooth as you shave. Easy to rinse off the blade. Additionally it doesn't have some girly scent and/or packaging, and I don't feel like a pansy using it. So guys, if you don't want a fru fru mango melon scented crap cream on your face in the morning - (melting your manhood away), but rather a reasonably priced clear gel that makes your head feel fresh and smooth as you shave, this is your stuff.

I bought Zihr shave gel based on some reviews I had seen online (always a risky proposition). I've been shaving for over 35 years, and when this gook first went on my face I was dismayed to realize that is was a clear gel! How would I know where I had shaved already, without the telltale parting of the foam? Wouldn't I cut myself?My trepidation was followed by a revelation that shook me to the core. Shaving would never be the same again! Now, I could see the curves, skin and stubble on my jaw when I was shaving! The gel was the smoothest and slipperiest gook that I have ever seen - the razor just glided over it like buttah. The stuff lubricated my face even when I ran the razor over a spot 3, 4 times!All ye, let us bow to the wonder that is Zihr shave gel....

A bit disappointed as it did not allow for a close shave which was my goal in locating a product. A bit expensive, may not purchase again

I’ve used this shave gel for many years. I had always purchased the larger container which is no longer available. Same great product, smaller package, smaller price. It doesn’t take a lot to get the closest shave without the skin irritation. I give this as a small Christmas gift to my friends who shave, I always get feedback about how they enjoyed it. Begins as a gel, stays a gel, for some smooth glide shaving.

In Kompination mit Pre Shave Öl (auch Zirh aber andere gehen auch) unschlagbar! Rasiere mich nass seit ewigen Zeiten und stieß auf Zirh per Zufall.... Tip: auch ideal für Konturenschitte da ja klares Gel und nicht alles verdeckender Schaum. Danke an Amazon für den günstigen Import aus UK - weitaus günstiger als bei anderen Platformen. TOP!!

I love everything about this shaving gel, especially that it doesn’t foam up just softens stubble beautifully. Five stars plus.

Long time user of Zirh Shave Gel due to its translucent properties, brilliant to be able to buy this in an air travel friendly 100ml tube.

Zirh Aloe is an incredible product. As a black man with coarse hairs its difficult for me to shave without resulting in razor burn but with this product it's a non issue. Instantly soothes and heals skin so there's no real need for aftershave. I would definitely recommend this for the average shaver or anyone with shaving sensitivity.

Best Shave gel I've ever used, I had to try many before to help with razor irritation on my neck and this works a treat.
