Forrest Gump Suite (Piano) Paperback

Takes me back to the days of the 60's and 70's 👍🏻

I got this as a gift, originally. It used to be my favourite guitar book. Later on (still, decades ago), someone borrowed this from me and never returned. Now, that I started playing the piano, I am so happy I re-ordered it and can learn the songs through the piano.

J'ai acheté ces partitions pour jouer "the feather theme". J'ai été déçue de voir que ce n'était pas la partition originale. Elle est simplifiée pour les débutants. Donc attention au moment de l'achat pour être sûr que cela correspond à vos attentes.

I bought this book mainly for the song "Mr. President, Have Pity On The Working Man" by Randy Newman. However, I soon realized that there were several great tunes from the movie that appear in this book that I was also excited to play. Before long, I was playing other great music on the piano such as "Hounddog" by Elvis Presley and "Volunteers" by Jefferson Airplane. The music is very well written, clear and easy to follow. It seems to be very accurate. One strange thing about the Randy Newman song, however, is that it is written out in Bb... but played on the record in B. I don't know why the key is different in the sheet music, but the music seems to be right, just in an alternate key.
