DiCAPacWaterproof Case with Waterproof Earphone for iPod (WP-MS10)

I have used these cases for the last 4 years. They last about 2 years being used about 2-3/wk in heavy chlorinated pools. Sound is good. If used properly they are water proof. I bought them at 3x the price. Glad to see they are reduced. Like Apple's ear buds it takes a few uses to get my ears to the shape that they stay in. Once that occurs I don't even know they are in. I place the unit down the front of my suit. They sound better under water then above. I have also video swimmers underwater or take pictures.

I returned this item because it was very difficult to use. The ipod fit nicely in to the case; but then I could not get the earphones to plug in. Once I inserted them in to the case it was IMPOSSIBLE to turn them around so they would fit in to the plug spot on the ipod.

This item works perfect...I have had no problems at all and it makes the time fly by. I would recommend this to anyone.

This was a great deal. Just what I needed and at a great price.

I originally gave Overboard a high rating because it worked but two months after I purchased it it leaked. It was used only a few times while swimming in a YMCA pool. It wasn't abused or stressed in anyway but it still leaked and ruined the Ipod. I contacted the company because I felt it still must be under warranty. I discovered the company is located in the UK. They stated to mail the item to them; they would send it out to an independent lab and have it tested to see if the product was at fault.I wasn't going to waste the time because I got the impression the company was going to admit fault but I thought I'd provide my point and I sent it anyway. I mailed the item to the address provided and also put it to the attention of the person I had been emailing, 5 days later they received the package. Since I never heard from them I contacted the same person a few weeks after they received the package. He stated he never received it. Well that convenient especially since the company received the package 5 days after I mailed and I put it to the attention of a specific person, which I had been emailing.All of their products are made from a thin flexible plastic. I actually purchased this for my mother to use while at the pool. I've used a H2O product for over 3 years and never had a problem. After this incident I purchased another H2O product for my mother. It works great and the company is located in San Diego, CA.Here's two other reviews I located on other web sites: "Case splits and does not work. Didn't trust it...did a small test with my moisture-sensitive 5S and had small leaks.Another item into the bin.

I am afraid all I can say about this unit is that it does keep an ipod dry, however it is bulky and difficult to wear in a pool looking like a blood transfusion bag hanging from my neck. The earphones are uncomfortable and they vibrate so much that the slip out of the ears on a regular basis.
