I originally purchased this for my two indoor cats. One is male with the other is female and it gets extremely hectic when they’re in heat. I was a bit unsure if this would work but after too many long nights of their screeching I finally gave in. I couldn’t be happier! It’s a lot calmer and I can actually get some sleep. As a perk, they’re also more at peace when I have to be away from home days at a time. Unlike other reviews I have not noticed my device getting hot. I can also appreciate that it doesn’t really smell like anything as that was another worry I had.Over all, great quality for the price, zero leakage or smell and it’s performing amazing! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something to ease them while in heat or while you’re away.

After we took in a couple of strays from outside, my cat starting showing signs of severe stress, spraying be the worst of them. At first, I was using the Comfort Zone diffusers, but was very frustrated because, though they are somewhat helpful, they were too expensive, and thus, a poor value! Plus, though the spraying was occuring less frequently with Comfort Zone, my cat was still doing it on the wall (literally a few inches from the outlet the Comfort Zone diffuser was in), esp the day of or after getting into an altercation wth another cat.This brand’s diffusers, however, are about half the price of Comfort Zone’s AND work even better! My cat has not sprayed on the wall, or anywhere in the house for that matter, even once since i changed to this brand. He seems more relaxed, happy, and confident in general as well. I’m def sticking with the Tcllka brand from now on! Their value is unbeatable!

Bought this to help with a wild kitten we found. Her temperament is wild and crazy but our 3 other cats at much more calm. After keeping her separated for the appropriate time, it was necessary to start the process of acclimating her to the rest of the house and the other cats. That’s when I added calming diffusers to the most used rooms of the house. It has helped everyone to dial down a bit. She’s still plenty crazy and wants to play more than the other cats but I’m not as worried about them all being together. I intend to keep replacing for multiple months because it’ll take time for the kitten to calm down further and for everyone to like each other. This calming diffuser has definitely helped and is making things easier for us all. I recommend trying this with your kitties.

My cat is 16 and suddenly had a dog move in with us. We inherited the dog and he is NOT very cat friendly, which majorly stresses out my cat!! Started using pheromone diffusers at the recommendation of the vet, but we have a large home and needed several. I saw this brand on sale and it looks EXACTLY like another brand (more expensive) so I gave it a try. It works just as well! It has a calming effect on her, for sure. There is no smell that I can detect at all. Not sure what she notices but she doesn’t dislike it. For the money, this is a great value.I did notice some leakage, but only when I opened the product. The outside was a bit oily. I haven’t noticed any oily residue on the wall or the floor beneath it.

I bought the refills thinking I could plug them into plugs I have but the bottle is too wide. I bought this to get the plug and it works well. It lasts a long time (about a month) and it’s got a little blue light which is like a night light which I liked

I don't believe the calming diffuser has had a significant impact on either of my cats. In all fairness I purchased to help my male cat not seem so anxious. My vet said he doesn't believe he is an anxious cat probably just his personality/ a loner. My male cat is more fearful than anxious so may e not the right product for me.

It didn't work on my cats. The new cat is the one is that is out of control 24/7. For some reason it didn't work on her??

I have had issues with 2 of my 4 boy kitties spraying and peeing throughout my home. We had the kitties from the time they were 12 weeks old and the problem started when they were about a year and a half old. They had been neutered and did not go outside. I had them vet checked and did all sorts of research to try to figure out why this was happening. I have spent so much money on all sorts of cleaners, vet bills, throwing out furniture, medications, and even a specialized cat behaviorist. Nothing was working and I was going crazy, really wondering how I could continue to live with this problem. I had already tried other diffusers and they made a little difference but it was not great. I read the reviews on this brand and figured what was one more last ditch effort could not hurt. OMG I wish I had just found these about 3 years ago. I can't tell you in a scientific for sure study that these were the thing that caused the change but I don't know what else it could be. I waited to complete a review because I needed to see if this was just a fluke. I am going on two months now of not having to clean up any messes -- for the first time in a couple of years, I don't put my feet on the floor in the morning to wonder where I will be cleaning up pee. I have never felt this strongly about a product. I feel this is has saved me from rehoming two kitties that I love so much but had started to really resent. There is a little bit of a scent and almost a warm smell but it is not anything that is bothersome. It is totally worth it to me and has made my life with my kitty boys so happy again. If you are struggling with any behavioral issues with your cats, I strongly suggest giving this a try. Other well advertised brands did not work for me so I don't know why this one is different but it works!
